All of these things are things that I dislike greatly in dramas. However, it's not just Asian dramas that employ these horrible "tropes". I've seen them all on US, British, Spanish, Mexican, Australian, and other European shows at some point. It's just used more in Asian dramas, and usually more then one them is present. If not all.
wow i thought this would be just a simple rom-com but why am i teary-eyed at ep 2. a very solid start imo. hope…
I think episode 3 will be more development on Soon Ae's past. Especially as the ending was that moving flashback! But hopefully they'll start developing Bong Sun some more.
I do like how it's humorous, but they're slowing building in the emotions. And hinting at more involved/in depth stories to come.
I feel depressed.. I thought they will concentrate more on Bong Sun rather than Soon Ae.. I like how they did…
Personally Soon Ae interests me more as a character. But that's because so far Bong Sun is rather boring and uninteresting, it doesn't help that she has had hardly any character development. Hopefully that's coming soon because I would like to see Bong Sun develop. Because if the two melded/clicked clearly there's more to Bong Sun than first impressions let on.

Sometimes it sucks finding older works of actors you know are good, because they might not be quite that good yet.
Plus, I'm starting to find a lot of the older dramas I try to watch are only good for the start and final few episodes. The rest just seems like filler.

Bummer. I've held of watching this one because my expectations were too high. I thought I was setting it up for failure.
Either way I'm hoping both characters will get developed and have to "share" the body.

Just thought some of you might be interested.
And thanks for bringing my attention back to Heart to Heart. I had completely forgotten about it after I had added to my list!
