Ooooooo. Ahhhhhhhh. Strong female lead!

Ooooooo. Ahhhhhhhh. Strong female lead! Interesting start. It was a bit muddy showing us Seung Nyang becoming Empress Ki, but once that's over with you fall into her youth and growing up. I liked this so much.

Especially the "twist". I really hoped that Seung Nyang was playing like that. For the sake of spoilers I won't really go into it.

Anywho, I love this setup. It's a very sophisticated gender bender. Not to mention revenge thus far. The visuals are amazing and the wardrobes! One of the strongest opening epiosdes I've had the pleasure of watching. Truly beyond impressed here.

Though this is a ton of building here, the writing doesn't have too much time develop the characters. What I've seen so far I like. The message of the world being cruel to females is so true, especially in any society's historical times. Woman got the short of end of the stick always.

I look forward to Seung Nyang's journey. >_<

Yeah! This series and I finally totally clicked!

Yeah! This series and I finally totally clicked! Best episode yet! Leaving us off on the hopeful point of Jae Yeol's marriage proposal it picks right up there. Even teasing us and showing us their joyful love for one another. Then to leave us in a nervous state at the end.

So much of the character development and growth is coming to furiution in this episode. Especially for Soo Kwang and So Nyeo! Oh, there moments were brilliant.

Just as are Jae Yeol and Hae Soo. The reality of being in love is that it can give you life experience. It also can make you grow up, while becoming childishly hopeful.

The joy and intense sadness of this episode was a perfect blend. Also finding out the whole truth. Though I find it odd that the shrink is the one to fully figure it out, on so little clues. Because the people involved don't really know the truth. Oh, well. Dramaland look past it.

Anyway! Great episode my heart is a flutter.

Let's get married, queue sly grin!

Let's get married, queue sly grin! It's official Jo In Sung is the king of the sexy/cute/sly/smoldering grins. He's using them to full affect playing Jae Yeol, and Hae Soo doesn't stand a chance! This whole episode was great to show how much they clash, but are still great for each other. Working out the kinks and all.

Best of all was seeing Soo Kwang getting some swagger, which came with a heavy dose of self confidence! Yeah! Own it man! (This is the week I'm seeing such adorable thumbs up! He deserved it though.)

The blending of Jae Yeol and Kang Woo has been truly well done from the beginning. Though with 5 episodes left I'm wondering how his hallucinations are going to be handled? Oh, and I can't wait for the full big reveal. (Really, the mom tossed her poor son under the bus? Yikes.)

I love the way the story is going, and while there's still some crucial piece missing for me it's brilliant. (I know, I know! What's wrong with me!)

Don't believe anyone is dead, until you see them fish eyed.

Don't believe anyone is dead, until you see them fish eyed. Though I suppose that could also refer to drama kisses! Ha-ha! No really, Missing 9 keeps toying with me. Even when someone gets smooshed you can not believe they're dead. Oh, no.

This episode was pretty brilliant. The only reason I'm not giving it a 10 is because it was so obvious how So Hee was going to die and who the next survivor would be. I really wanted the writer to pull one over on me.

This episode was brilliant in showing us how normal and warm everyone could be, and then the reality of being trapped on a deserted island. It's all good, until your life is on the line. Especially when So Hee was braiding Ho Hang's hair, and then his betrayal to her.

I like the balance Missing 9 has struck. From Gi Joon and Ji Ah's romantic hijinks (ha-ha! Ho Hang gave the thumb up I wanted to!) To seeing into the past of Dreamers and how they were before debuting. Survival brings out the monster in all of us, and the good.

Yeah! I'm so glad that Bong Hee has her memory back. That does mean we're going to spend more time on the island and find out what really happened. I enjoy the storyline change up and the pacing is perfect for the reveals and the present. Can't wait to see how the new survivor and Bong Hee will mesh up.

(So I really want Bong Hee and Jun Oh to become an item. Can you imagine if they actually had decent kisses and skinship? Though with this drama I feel like they'll just be close friends. Jun Oh definitely feels and seems like a big brother to Bong Hee most of the time.)

Well I wanted them to make it intense, so they killed quite a few characters. Wowza.

Well I wanted them to make it intense, so they killed quite a few characters. Wowza. Things took a turn thinning the herd. Though one was already confirmed dead, and the other won't be dead. Two new dead is definitely intense.

I'm so frustrated that they were so willing to feed Bong Hee to the wolves. Even though they admitted that confession truly wasn't a confession. Tae Yeong is so eager to pin the blame on someone for his loss he's willing to simple hang anyone. Just so conveniently is the girl who survived.

Really I think someone clearly needs to kill Tae Ho. I mean the guy is that scary? They're treading on pins and needles. Not to mention he was willing to rush off and leave them, then after they fish him out he's willing to still let others die. This guy is scary. Jump him as one and tie him up. (The ending is so sad. Though I it was clear it was coming.)

I'm really excited to see with the new survivor is, hopefully they get to see more than one episode. Also, I'm excited by the previews that Bong Hee got her memories back! Though there's still the question of whether she faked it or not . . . or what? I was also very surprised by Jae Kook and I'm saddened to where his fate leads. Though it felt like he should have seen that coming.

What build up! Not to mention that everything is in glaring color. The beige is gone. I'm so curious as to the meaning behind the color schemes.

DO NOT MISS THE SCENE AFTER THE CREDITS.

Darn it! I knew if Zi Feng new about her being a girl depending on the timeline it would take some of the awesomeness out. The whole epicness was that he debated about his love because he thought Ya Nuo was a girl. I'm trying to place it exactly when and where. I think it's when she tracks Zhe Rui down after he was "framed". It helps, but I'd have preferred it if it could have been when they were making out.

I wanted to see the brief "holy shit!" then "oh thank goodness!" Oh well.

Overall this was a solid ending. Slow points and obligated flashbacks.

Finally Ya Nuo's parents are brought back and the fabulous cousin!!!!!!! Xia Jing I missed you, I'm sorry you got so clean cut out for the last part of the show. Zi Han and Guang Chao finally are given some time to give us closure.

Na Na and Qing Yang have real time. However, I am gravely disappointed. Ya Nuo and Zi Feng have some of the hottest drama kisses out there, but they only get hugging and pecks. It's beautiful. But darn it I wanted PASSION!

Overall I think they could have done better for some the side stories and characters. While it did a better job then most dramas, it could have taken all it's side stuff further. Wasted potential on many of the characters and plots. Still a solid enough closer. I mile

It's all made up for by the ending after the credits!!!!! Hall make out scene to the hotel!!!! DO NOT MISS IT!

Wait! Zi Feng may have known all along and Qing Yang and Na Na are having a huge misunderstanding.

Wait! Zi Feng may have known all along and Qing Yang and Na Na are having a huge misunderstanding. Oh, dear. Firstly when did Zi Feng find out--though I find it clever that his dad did too. Or why are they still calling her he? Just out of habit? Ah!

Now Na Na's come in on the wrong part of the conversation and left for the important stuff. This is a trope I hate in any story! If you're going to eavesdrop you darn well better listen to the whole thing before storming off.

Overall this episode does a really great job of wrapping things up and moving us along. It looks like the big send off will be Na Na and Qing Yang making up, and then Ya Nuo finally coming out as a girl.

I won't lie. The pacing is slow and I really wanted to fast forward a lot. I do enjoy the message of hope and forgiveness. Also for redemption and fessing up to your wrong doings. Though I'm still annoyed that the slow parts are taking away from the other cast that has been totally dropped! Oh, well. Here's to the final episode.

Oh, my. Drama cliches abound.

Goodness between Feng Teng old friend wanting him and this new dramatic female entering at the end, it's gonna be even more drama clichés.

Really! Ha-ha. I'm still enjoying myself, but the writing really isn't attempting anything new. I see why there are so many recommends for people who like Love O2O, but Love O2O had great side character stories and a unique/wonderful romance.

Shan Shan was working for 4 years at the company already? Time did not flow well in the story. Not to mention that there is practically 0 romance between Feng Teng and Shan Shan.

It's all very underwhelming. I'm disappointed that there hasn't been any romantic build mainly outside of drama clichés and we're 4 episodes in!

Still fun.

Step backwards.

Huh. Well now we've stepped backwards from side character development. Not to mention adding a love interest of Big Boss's! Ha-ha. Still fun, but I really wanted it to go more.

I love that light bulb/ladder boy is a total romance.

Feng Teng is just going the long way round to win Shan Shan. *sighs* Shan Shan is at least picking up on Feng Teng actually moving in on her. Ha-ha! I can't believe her friends wouldn't support her in this. Though it is good to step back and work on ones self instead.

Love how Shan Shan handled moving on from Zheng Qi. I was really nervous how that was going to happen.

More of the other characters.

This episode holds a lot more promise for the story as it actually develops into the side characters more. FINALLY! Honestly not much has been going on for Boss and Me. Not even for the leads. It's fun, but pondering.

Hopefully this episode is the birth of better pacing. Not to mention better wooing from Big Boss. Ha-ha. It is refreshing that Feng Teng is undecided about how to approach her, nervous, and afraid of how she might change if they did date. The last worry is probably the most realistic one. However, everyone changes.

This episode had a ton of great moments. Most importantly that I think Feng Teng's secretary is trying to play match maker! He-he.

My face hurts from smiling!

My face hurts from smiling so much! Ha-ha. It is fun and ladder boy was not totally forgotten and I like where he is headed off. Thank you dear writer for letting him have a HEA instead up pining after Shan Shan now that the boss has set his sights to her.

Though I'm really wondering if Zheng Qi is interested in Shan Shan or not? Or if he just lost the game?

Some of the freeze frame was back, still don't care for it. At least they were better shots.

You know Feng Teng really hasn't been developed yet, and I think that's where a huge part of the disconnect is coming from. He's an idea to propel the fantasy of the romance. The cold boss who has stalked the lead and now wish's to woo her in a way she won't realize she is being wooed.

Ah. Satisfying, but I want more.

Okay, the cynic in me rebels. BUT the hopeless romantic in me is squeeing!

Okay, the cynic in me rebels. BUT the hopeless romantic in me is squeeing! Sometimes it's just so refreshing to have such an upbeat lead. Sure there are others, but they're always pulling themselves out of some kind of funk. Shan Shan has spunk, and I can't help relate to someone who enjoys their lunchtime and dances when it snows. I feel like I've found my kindred spirit! Ha-ha. (Kidding. Kind of.)

While it's creepy he is technically spying on her, I like that he did fall in love with her. Over the simple joy she finds in life. As he said, the simple enjoyment of a lunchbox. It makes me wonder how he'll approach her eventually.

Though I do feel bad for ladder boy. I mean he's so nice and was a friend to her from the beginning. Poor boy.

So I admit it this isn't ground breaking, but it's warm and simple. Sometimes simple sweet romances are all you need.

On the plus side the freeze frames and cartoons have stopped.

A little everywhere, but fun.

This drama goes a little bit everywhere trying to establish itself. It's not the worst setup, but not the best.

There's a few key things I don't like. Excessive use of sped up scenes to make the story go faster. I admire they want to keep the pacing going, but it's annoying after too much use. Freeze scenes for the "action" bits. I hope that doesn't stay. I don't find the use of cartoons to work. I actually really want to see the actors faces. I can see why they want to do it for day dream scenes, but I hope they don't use it too much.

Overall it's an okay setup. I think t's funny that Shan Shan loved the idea of the hiring department accidently falling a sleep and clicking her through. Yet the fact that she might have been picked for her "panda blood", AKA AB, she doesn't like it. Though being a blood bank would probably terrify me. In fact, I'd find a new job ASAP.

So far I like Shan Shan she's caring, up beat, and tries her best. She knows her flaws. She was also smart enough to realize that she was a blood bank. I'm very curious as to where the drama will go from here.

Ah, a chronic liar.

I had a feeling Song Ji Won was a chronic liar. Among few other things. It's a shame how things turned out for Eun Jae finally trusting in someone. It feels like so much is being left out of certain things so that they can cram in before the final episode.

I mean! Wham! The beginning of this episode. Holy drama. I thought something bad would happen when Doo Yeong Felt slighted over Ye Eun getting over him. He had an inferiority complex and there was a hint of some physical abuse in the relationship before. In the end when they dragged him out in his prison jumper it was a well delivered message: don't date guys like me.

Deep stuff aside.

Eun Jae's story is definitely dark and her lack of feeling with the insurance guys investigating definitely brought her to a scary place. It scares me how it's going to play out for her. On the happy side I'm happy to see her boyfriend back. I feel like so much was left out between them! They're so cute together and I get why she's pulling away with her big secret haunting her. Like I said this is intense.

I also felt horrible for my SONG! Liar Song apparently. She's so lonely. Her actions of lying tend to keep people at arms length. So I feel for her when she wanted someone to come to her.

This episode again showcases how much these girls have grown together and care for one another. Personally I would have enlisted the delivery guy further. However, girl power wins! I loved that Ye Eun still tried to get in there and help her girls.

Wow, the end is near. I don't know how this is going to wrap up! Definitely a drama with such amazing writing that it deserved more length. Something I rarely get to say about dramas.

The colors really are important.

There's been a lot of speculation about the color beige as it seems like the whole cast is where it. So far it's been beige and then the brighter scheme in Ra Bong Hee's present. However, in the cliff flashback we see So Hee in color. Also, they're showing the entire island cast in white towards the end. Clearly the color scheme is going to mean important things for the story.

Red. Red is going to mean something and seeing as So Hee suddenly has red on during what looked like her plummeting to her death, and then Ra Bong Hee when she sees everyone in white. So Hee is also in vivid tones then.

Speculations aside I love how ambitious this is going to be. It really could mess with your mind and keep you guessing. Not to mention that even though I'm pretty sure that was the death of a character, the writing still kept me smiling and laughing. (Even while laughing I felt guilty because I'm pretty sure that was the first official--that we know of--island death.)

Overall fantastic! What a great show to start of my drama new year! Clearly a lot of time and though has gone into this script. Someone may have been inspired by the USA Lost, but the writers are going to make it their own. Plus, I love all of the acting.

Side note: I'm baffled as to why the ratings in Korea are so low! It feels like they rarely reward shows that try to break the K-drama mold and deliver something better. Here's hoping word of mouth will get this show picked up in the ratings so that we can get more dramas like this.
