It hit me--

Never thought putting ointment on a knee could feel so ditry, I'm relieved he didn't go through with it.

It finally hit me while watching this episode why Another Miss Oh, is not connecting 100% with me.

Oh Hae Yeong #1 has a serious alcohol problem. Forget about finding her a man, someone needs to get her into AA. Fast. I feel like even is she's happy she'd have to start drinking. She's drinking in the middle of the day, over drinking are work functions, drinking everywhere, and anytime of day! It's been well over a month, so there has to be a limit.

The fact that any emotional drama hits and she goes for the bottle is very worrying. I spend more time watching her self pity and medicate with alcohol. I don't know who she really is when she's not drinking.

Do Kyeong is an unlikable male lead. In fact, he's basically a creepy stalker. Not to mention that he's playing all these games, while still lying to Oh Hae Yeong #1. When he listened to all the recordings again I got chills. Not to mention that he really is a jerk and bully. An occasional nice deed doesn't make that go away.

Even my beloved Soo Kyeong is an alcoholic. Though from what happened in this episode I hope she gets a hold on it! Ha-ha! (When will Ji Sang remember?)

Overall this was a bit of a slower episode as things get ready for the big reveal. Especially if the previews and what the doctor says are correct. Wow, what a way to take this drama!

Oh, and the kiss was interesting. That was a fight from beginning to end.

I love Hae Yeong's parents.

You know . . . if the whole element of the visions and responsibility of what Do Kyeong had done where gone, he'd kind of be a stalker. His friend Ji Sang was kind of right. What Do Kyeong is doing is sick. Especially now that Hae Yeong #1 has admitted her feelings.

However, that's the power of dramas!

Yeah, if he'd have known that his stint in jail was going to be so short Tae Jin could have waited for her. Well you know what, why the crap did he take that choice away any who? She could have decided herself. Oh, well he wasn't worthy. (Dang it, Lee Jae Yoon, I will find a drama that your a great guy in so I can lust away without guilt.)

Oh, my poor Tigress! (Yes, I'm referring to Soo Kyeong.) It broke my heart when the waitress gave her that news! However, when Ji Sang is comforting her and admits that he speaks French I was moved. (Please, please, please! PLEASE! Let there be a romance there! Drama gods, I request! Answer my prayers!

Ahn Na! My cutey is back! I love how care free she makes Park Hoon, and happy. Her energy is so infections. Boy does she look good in pink hair! Love her try everything motto and to not care what others think as long as it makes her happy! Park Hoon has a decision to make! (Why waste her pretty softness! Ha-ha!!)

Um, wow. I'm writing this review as I watch, so yeah. I just got to the part where Do Kyeong follows Tae Jin and rams his care. Not only is that disturbing, but he wronged both === and ===. Yes, fuzzy feelings he's enraged for Hae Yeong #1's suffering. However, who's lying (excuse me withholding information) and yo-yoing her feelings? Personally he deserved the beating and I was cheering for Tae Jin. (Though I'm quite sure in episode 1 their plan was to use Tae Jin's honor to get him to call off the wedding. I distinctly remember Ji Sang mentioning it. So he shouldn't be so shocked, I guess once you know the victim you care.)

All of the scenes with the Hae Yeong's parents were brilliant! Oh, the emotion! I love how they decided to cheer up! Not to mention that these parents aren't just window dressing. You know how most dramas the parents are just there, but are never developed. The very last vision Do Kyeong has makes me both nervous, and very excited! (Those are some passionate scenes, bordering on the creepy!) Really looking forward to the next episode.

"Be Happy."

"Be happy." -Shin Kyeong Mo (Sun Ae's younger brother)

That's so sweet that Kyeong Mo finally got to do what he probably wanted to do for his sister, help her be happy. I didn't want to mention it in my last review so I could keep it spoiler free. It's sweet that Sun Ae's brother helps bring Bong Seon and Seon Woo together. Not only is it such a real and heart felt scene when they make up, but I adore a good romantic swing moment that followed after word.

What I love more is Bong Seon and Seon Woo had a frank discussion about their romance and what was real. I loved that Seon Woo even joked that he was in a love triangle with a ghost! Ha-ha. It my be supernatural, but the conversation felt natural and real. The writer and the actors knocked it out of the park! I also enjoyed how Seon Woo handled talking to a ghost and treating her like a human. Though I really feel for Sun Ae, Seon Woo and her were in a relationship too.

Meow. *shivers* Well Seong Jae's evilness has come out! Holy cow, the hit and run. He hit and then drove over her, then ran. Oh. My. Drama. Just everything about this. Seong Jae has clearly been possessed from the get go and I really want to know when. Or if he ever was officially possessed. Seong Jae has truly become on epic villain. To fool everyone and be so kind and smiley. Oh, yeah. Meow.

Things are really building up as we finally get the truth behind Seong Jae, Sun Ae, and Eun Hee. Now all that's left is getting down to the nitty gritty. That cliffhanger! Ah! Be safe Sun Ae. Not to mention how this love triangle is going to wrap up.

An emotional rollcoaster!

An emotional roll coaster, I've got whip lash! First the writer had me all panicky and worried beyond belief. Then the next thing I know everything is all right. Then it's one crazy emotional experience after another! This episode had me hitting pause to briefly indulge in what I like to call "rock myself in a ball till it's all better" and then smiling like a fool from the good vibes later. Intense guys. Totally.

Not only did Soo Chul still my heart away (please don't let him be gone from the drama!), but Ji Hong totally did. Heck even Yoon Do. They all have different personalities and I love them all for different reasons. Ji Hong is such an amazing lead! He breaks every stereotype and I love how happy he makes me feel. No really, this guy has charisma and that smile . . . Yoon Do is the typical cold guy, but I like how complex he is. He's so smooth, but totally awkward. Soo Chul, well I've spent a lot of time going on about him. Yeah, he's really cool. It's perfect, I could tell these guys apart in a drama line up. That's what's important.

Hye Jung is pretty awesome, I love that we get to see her be so strong and then it's tempered by human moments. She kicks butts and beats the guys, or saves them. But she still not perfect at everything. What I like is that she can do all of the things that are more "manly" or considered for the men, but she looks sexy and cool. Especially when she playing Ji Hong. (Wrinkled collar, wink-wink.) (Oh, speaking of winks Soo Chul has the sexiest wink. *dreaming look*)

Last review I found myself saying how I understood Seo Woo and could sympathize with her. However, her bad traits are annoying. Even when people simply give her feedback about how she behaves she can't take a hint. It's not just jealousy, though it's a big part. It's her need to be right, and to not take any advise or learning experience. To never apologize or admit she's done wrong. Strangely enough I still like her and I really want to see her grow.

I've said it before and I'll say it again this cast is awesome. The work party was great, especially the unexpected rapping from a certain head of Neurosurgery! To Hye Jung's dad actually making me feel bad for him! Even though I wanted to strangle him for not seeing how he'd wronged her. There wasn't enough Soon Hee moments. Which meant no Hye Jung and Soon Hee moments! (Guys, I am obsessed with these two!)

At least this ending was cute and not cruel. So far I feel like Doctor Crush is really hitting all the points and keeping things interesting. The pacing is working well and I'll be curious how all of these storylines come into play and work out. I love it all! Quite honestly I'm eager for each storyline to play out and the characters it's involved in. Things could get heavy, and thus boring, on some of them. Yet I think the writer could really pull it off.

Oh, and is anyone else just stunned by how good this drama looks? I want to screenshot every scene almost!

Boring.

This is the cliffhanger that should bring Dan Tae and Joon Soo together! They fight a little, but then they finally tell each other the truth!

Because this episode was painful to watch. Yes, there were some great Gong Shim moments. However, they were ruined by Dan Tae keeping his secrets and the whole same old plot that is still boring to watch. -_-

It's frustrating and I found myself angry-bored. It's all been done before, and yes it was boring then. I really want this drama to find itself again.

A team up with Joon Soo and Dan Tae would be a big help. I doubt this drama is going to return to it's former glory, the writer has once again decided to spend more time on an uninteresting and "safe" plot.

I'll see this drama to the end because I adore Gong Shim, but I am going to watch carefully about starting any other dramas by this writer.

Ugh.

Normally the end clip makes me smile at the silly reveal, or my heart flutter at the cute little romantic reveal. This time all I feel is annoyance. First off I find it extremely annoying when the male lead withholds information from the female lead to protect her, especially when he plans on leaving or it's really putting her in danger keeping her in the dark. Well all of that is happening there. Now they've both fallen in love and she's the one that has the guts to confess. You know what that means time for him to push her away!

So he turns her down horribly and then that little romantic reveal. -_- You sir deserve to be slapped. Ugh. He does that then steals a what? Ugh!!

Not to mention that Jae Kyung is not being developed. The actor is making him so wickedly good! Every time he's on screen I shiver in terror. (I will confess to totally having a crush on the actor now, it was the red suit. That was the final straw.) AND I just found out that this series was supposed to be shorter but was extended because it was popular! Is this signaling the dreaded filler/slow down because they now have to drag out the drama?

Overall I liked that Hui Kyung cut things off with Se Mi, he doesn't want her to suffer like him. He still intends to win Song Yi though. You have to admire that dedication, but pity him at the same time. At least now he's taking his suspicions about his brother seriously, even when he gets that extra nudge from his love rival.

Oh, and I love the bookstore panel!! Ha-ha! Giving her advice on what to do about Min Joon. That was so cute and I can only hope that there will be more of them and scenes like that. Song Yi's drunken escapades of heart break were hilarious to watch, but annoying as I feel like she should have focused on some of the things he said. (Not to mention if he is lying and breaking her heart.) Oh, wow Jae Kyung plays dirty! Min Joon is no match for him, especially with his actions at the end. I hope Min Joon has something super cunning planned! Please, let him have something cunning planned.

She's be medicated for love!

The end doctor visit was priceless! He's taking her feelings as something that needs medication. Ha-ha.

Ah, we've come to the point where Min Joon needs to distance himself because he's leaving. *sighs* I still have many questions about him feeling the cold and if he can't swap body fluids with humans and all. Overall I like the way the romance is going. Especially when Song Yi realizes she has a crush on him.

It's cute.

I'm really surprised how things turned out. Not that Jae Kyung is framing Min Joon, but that poor sweet Yoo Suk (Se Mi's borther) seems to be a causality! I bet if she new she would have no problem telling her brother who the potential boyfriend is now! Ah!

Not to mention that cliffhanger! Oh, no. With Mi Joon revealing himself to Jae Kyung (see!!!! he found out before Song Yi, cruel trope) things are probably going to get crazy. I can't wait to see what villainess Jae Kyung and his wicked secretary are going to do next. (The secretary is the hot monk from Mirror of the Witch!!! Oh my drama! Too awesome.) I'm really impressed by the passing of this drama and I love that Song Yi at least has a real friend in her bookstore friend.

Just a niggling suspiions

There's this niggling suspicion in the back of my mind that Se Mi would make an epic villain. In fact, if things really took a turn for her and she became a true villainess her and Jae Kyung could make quite the team. Of course she'd be in way over her head with him.

Somethings felt really off this episode. Namely Jae Kyung actually completely revealing to Min Joon that he would indeed kill people. Jae Kyung thinks risks through. Or maybe he knew that Min Joon knew. Also, I didn't care for that scene between Se Mi and Hui Kyung. That was not the look of annoyed friend, I think Hui Kyung has suppressed feelings for Se Mi. Which makes me think that Hui Kyung simply wants the girl that everyone else wants and she turns him down constantly so it's like adding kerosene to the fire! It's official I don't care for Hui Kyung at all.

Ugh, and now everyone knows that Min Joon is the guy that saved Song Yi. Early on I thought it would all come out into the open. Now I almost feel like Jae Kyung will know before Song Yi! (Well maybe not, she found the shard. But still.)

I still loved the heart rate parts and the side affects . . . how would a relationship ever work out? As his lecture stated skinship is important. (Yes, there could be an argument for how much skinship one really needs. My argument is that Min Joon kissed her, so I am thinking more than a little skinship is wanted.) I really enjoyed the look at Se Mi and the manager team! It's cute that they miss Song Yi, even if she treated them badly. Hey, sometimes people can tell when others are being fake. No one likes a faker.

Wowza, that red suit!

Jae Kyung's red suit was amazing in this episode! Yes, he's terribly evil and al. I agreed. However, that power of the red suit . . . prrrrr.

That said this episode was great!! While I question the interview style they now during the episodes, before it was kind of like an "after episode special". It's off, but totally funny. Especially as Song Yi's smashes her way through his poor antiques!

This episode was off the charts with humor. Especially the flashback to the time Min Joon first tried alcohol! Levitating all that stuff was hilarious. But the best part was levitating himself and his horse across the night sky! Especially after talking about not drinking and riding a horse because of all the accidents going on. That image of Min Joon riding his horse in front of the moon shall forever be imprinted in my mind. When I'm said, back gosh I'm gonna pull up that scene! Ha-ha!

It's interesting seeing a bit more of Jae Kyung's henchman, and apparently another henchman? Apparently he's his secretary, but I don't think that was ever made clear. I'm a little disappointed that most of the side cast is being underdeveloped.

Wow, I like the way that kiss went down! Get it Min Joon! See even alines aren't immune to Song Yi's powers. Oh, and I have to give credit to Se Mi for finally confessing her feelings. That takes guts and I'm glad she didn't stay silent forever. Overall a brilliant episode one of my favorites yet!

He-he! He crept closer.

I always have an issue with romances that start off with the guys hating the girls, usually they're jerks to the girl and they need to do some groveling before she takes him. Normally that never happens and the guy never earns her. I like this cute approach we're seeing! Especially the parallels between that random boy outside the book shop and Min Joon. It was perfect. Or when Min Joon's "dad" is pointing out that Min Joon and Song Yi are pretty much acting like a couple! All the cute minor things are perfect! Not to mention that little sneak peek back that was like an extended scene. "One meter! . . . . "One meter is closer than that." To see the pout and him creeping over to her. Too cute.

The opposite of cute is Shin Sung Rok playing the villainess Jae Kyung. Sung Rok has the perfect villain look here, he gives me chills! Though I'm wondering when he's going to be developed even more.

It's interesting how the writer is choosing to pull Min Joon and Song Yi's "fates" together. Not to mention showing how willing people are to throw Song Yi under the bus. That without proof and on gossip people are so willing to toss her aside. It makes me sad about Song Yi's friend. Though it's true how willing people are to bully others, whether they're a big star or not.

Well I want the romance to be good, and for Song Yi to have a big comeback/something to rub all these idiots noses in. (I also got a kick out of her turning around and rejecting everyone who was firing her.)

Who hasn't fantasized about dancing in the rian to that song? Hmm?

Hands down one of the best/funnest drama rain scenes. Not to mention one of my top dancing in the rain scenes from now on. So cute and adorable. There is something about Rae Won, and boy is he bringing it with Ji Hong. I feel like I'd be putty in this man's hands, Hye Jung is a tougher woman than me!

That said I think Yoon Do is really cute, and I find his developing crush of Hye Jung to be absolutely ADORABLE! (Queue high pitched voice for the word "adorable"!) Oh, I feel for this character too.

Heck, I really like all of the characters! Even Seo Woo to a point, that's because the writer is really putting forth the effort to develop these characters.

My favorite side character is definitely Soon Hee! I adore her to pieces and hope she becomes a pivotal character.

Overall I really love that the characters are first, there's a good amount of actual patients and medicine, and the politics are there but not taking over. Doctors' strength definitely comes from the characters and I love it!

I don't know what this drama has done to me! I'm smitten. This is definitely my all time favorite role for Hye Jung. However, I'm still very disappointed! Soo Chul (hot motorcycle guy) is confirmed to be in the present storyline, but there's no mention or anything about him this episode! I have a speculation that if he isn't a love thrill/interest for Hye Jung that he and Soon Hee would be pretty awesome together! That's right I adore Soon Hee enough that I'd concede Soo Chul to her.

All I can do now is hope the writer keeps up it up because I have hit full on drama obsession with this! Now the wait. (Oh, and wasn't anyone else disappointed with the kiss? I wanted a bit more after the Pinocchio one! Especially with the chemistry the actors are working with here!)

I'm addicted.

The show/writing is really starting to come into it's own. Yes, it's all very predictable drama stuff at his point, but it's starting to really utilize its other aspects. The humor and cleverness is really starting to hit the mark. The bad guy is wicked, and I'll wait for him to get developed.

What's more is that Song Yi is becoming more rounded. I do enjoy that she embraces who she is, and she doesn't believe she should apologize for it. After all we're all human, and everyone's said or done a stupid thing.

I really love the reveals of how Min Joon has lived the past 400 years. Especially the ending extra where we see him being hit on the Joseon era. Too funny!

I like the way everything is coming along and the side characters and stories that are being built. I'm very interested in Song Yi's brother, and I hope more of her bookstore owner friend will be in later.

This is classic drama elements, tossed together with mild sci-fi, and good campy fun. I really like how much energy Song Yi's character has. Overall this is very addicted and I'm curious enough to see how it all plays out. There's loads of promise here!

"You are my destiny!" That is so cheese, but so catchy. I've been singing it to my poor cat. ^_-

Better.

This episodes humor really hit the mark with me! From Song Yi having to look good at the hospital, to the whole passing gas thing. Not to mention that Min Joon is actually having reactions to things. It's hilarious watching him react to Song Yi's antics and all the situations he's in. Not to mention the bookstore scene. Though, how dare he bad mouth her books! At least she's reading.

*Random thought: I really want to smell Min Joon's library. Old book smell.*

Song Yi may be just another stupid lead, but she's finally getting some character depth. The scenes about her family broke my heart, and I want to learn more about what happened there.

Also, I love the music for this show. It's really fun. Even the corny "You are my destiny" song that keeps playing. Ha-ha.

Jae Kyung, Hiu Kyung's brother, is definitely one evil guy. There's no doubt he's creepy and you wouldn't even want to meet him . . . anywhere. So far though he's just a guy doing really evil things. I was promised an amazing bad guy. So maybe I just need to hold on for his character development?

Overall I'm glad this episode finally introduced unique humor. I'm pretty sure the past 2 episodes were supposed to make me laugh, but it wasn't anything original. All of the antics could have been found in other dramas. Not to mention the whole setup that Min Joo hates everything about Song Yi. I get why it's a thing, that he falls in love with her despite hating everything about her.

Though does anyone want to see how Min Joon smuggled the shoes out? That puts a smile on my face.

This drama still has a ways to go yet, but I'm starting to get into it. Despite how very standard this drama is actually turning out to be.

Yeah, you'll need that box of tissues.

Well, I was spot on. Tissues are going to be needed, and a box of comforting dark chocolates. This episode was so human and real. That's been the magic of Dear My Freinds. When it hits those human moments on the head and we realize that this very thing could be happening.

Whehter it's getting a view point from the parent's or the child's perspective.

Park Wan is right. Our parents take care of us our entire life. When something bad happens to ones parent they do think selfish thoughts. The reality is though that everyone is going to think selfish thoughts. What makes parents and children family is what they do when those selfish thoughts have cleared.

Overall I cried. Yeah. Dear My Friends balance of sadness and happiness has deifnitely tipped. We're seeing the sadness of aging in its element now. With two episodes left I'm gonna keep that box of tissues on stand by.

(Park Wan can not give up her man. Yeong Ha will totally understand, if not that's not how I thought he was or their love.)

Another fun blooper reel!

Yeah, for more fun blooper reels! I love them so much! (If you're wondering where they're in place of the previews for the next episode at the end of the episode.)

Joon Soo, I believe in you. He did the right thing in this episode! Despite me being on "team Dan Tae" and all Joon Soo was the lead I thought Gong Shim should end up with. He's so thoughtful and I love how he treats her. At this point I have a case of second lead syndrome, while still liking the first guy! Ha-ha. They're both keeping her in the dark and they are both at a crossroads. I believe that once Joon Soo is given sometime to process everything he will do the right thing. Heck, it would be crazy if he didn't protect his mother. This is the one good thing about the melodrama plot right now. Seeing Joon Soo's discovery and finding out how he's gong to handle it all.

Other than that I don't care for the melodrama taking over. The plot was obvious from the get go and I knew the who, what, and why before characters were even revealed. Honestly the plot is tired and old, and too predictable. That's why I thought the obligatory melodrama plot would be more of a back burner thing.

I think the writer has forgotten that the show is called Beautiful GONG SHIM!!!! There's hardly any of her and she's whom I'm watching it for. Dan Tae and Joon Soo are both great male leads, but the show is not named after them and I wouldn't watch it just for them. Gong Shim has been benched, she's like the bone between two dogs right now. Additional tension between Dan Tae and Joon Soo. Gong Shim is such an interesting female character for dramas and well developed, I don't like her being benched so two guys can fight it out.

(Oh, and Dan Tae was looking at her when she fell. What happened to his super powers? He caught her last time. I'm starting to see a pattern with this drama writer . . . . )
