Right? I thought she spoke super inappropriately to Qian Heng from the very beginning. It would make sense if she gradually acted this way after getting closer to him over time, but she talked and acted like this from the start.
I think it’s the way the script was written though. I watched the actress in love in panacea where she played an entirely different personality.
I like the drama but Qian Heng and Cheng Yao never had a normal employer-employee relationship from the beginning and I would never speak to my boss the way Cheng Yao speaks to Qian Heng. I would enjoy the show a lot more if they truly acted like normal colleagues.

I agree, the female lead makes me feel quite uncomfortable. I feel that she’s unnecessarily mean and her reaction to being rejected is quite entitled. Love is a two way thing - just because you confessed to someone and liked someone for so long doesn’t mean that person MUST reciprocate your feelings. Feelings can’t be forced.
