He was diagnosed for having schizoid personality disorder in ep 6. I think it is a misdiagnosis as well.
I wish we could have more stuff to look at. Two days more and we might find the actual illness, this drama is very unpredictable

I don't have any good theories as far as who the accomplice is, a part of me believes we still haven't actually…
wow! I really like the theory of an organized crime going on. It does make sense and adds up to my own theory that Do Min Seok has two accomplices.

Why I think there's two because it answers the big question that Detective Choi, the rookie one, and Jiwon were circling on when theyre discussing on how the abduction process happened when Do Min Seok was spending time with Do Hyun Su. So I think what happened was the Accomplice 1 abducted the woman, and successfully had parked the car somewhere, got out of the car, took a walk and gave the car key to Accomplice 2, Accomplice 2 then got in the car and drove and delivered the abducted victim to the Do Min Seok's, workshop but he got unlucky when the witness hit his car and it was him who got out and told lied about his "wife being drunk".

but who are these two? I think one of them is Mr. Baek (the hospital director). A big hint or evidence of this is how he has the number of the other accomplice, and the other one? That I do not know of, but both of their roles in the abduction could switch. Other than that, I think that these three figures have something in common, they're not normal.

First, Do Min Seok, he's definitely a psychopath. At first, I had my doubts during the first seven episodes but then in episode 8, it showed a scene where Hyunsu was just a child and his father is already coaxing him to do "something, anything" to the poor rabbit. The Second, which is Mr. Baek, as I've observed, has some sort of sadistic nature in him, and to add with that is his very obvious dominant trait as shown by how he treats his wife and how commanding his voice would be. And The Third, the unknown accomplice, I think is the submissive one, the one who follows orders, the dependent one, why I think he's the submissive/dependent one is because he cried so hard during Do Min Seok's funeral, and how Mr. Baek was about to call him to ORDER him to take "care" of Hyunsu, but it didn't happen as it got interrupted.

One of the big questions is why? What's their motive? I was juggling my head around this question these past few days and I finally found the answer as you stated in your comment, it's organized crime meant to generate money. It makes sense since it benefits all three of the figures. The unknown accomplice may be responsible in luring the victims and abducting them per orders of the dominant(Mr. Baek), meanwhile, the killing part goes to the psychopath(Do Min Seok), and the organs or whatever valuable body part there is that could benefit the dominant's(Mr. Baek) career as a doctor. You may wonder how the submissive takes benefit from this and as I said earlier that submissives are dependent on the dominant ones and would be happy to follow their orders but that doesn't mean that they're victims.

Sorry for the long read! This drama is very unpredictable and mind-blogging! Stay safe.

I think he's not a psychopath, it's just what people think he is and what he's branded off as. His diagnosis tho from the documents was that he has ASPD which stands for Anti-Social Personality Disorder. But I don't think that's the case as well, it must be something more complicated than that. then earlier I saw a comment down here that mentions he must have... wait a sec let me check my search history lol.. Alexithymia, according to google "Alexithymia is a personal trait characterized by the subclinical inability to identify and describe emotions experienced by one's self or others. "

His inability to identify and describe emotions aligns well to Alexithymia and SPOILER FOR EPISODE 8 he openly admitted to Moo Jin that he doesn't know whether a person is upset or not, what a person feels he can't describe it.

"I don't love her."

My heart just breaks for Jiwon but at the same time, I pity Hyunso. I really wish for a happy ending although based on the latest episode welp it's kind of going to a tragic path or a neutral one.

How are you guys holding up with the wait? Stay safe!

Oh how wish i could just telepath all the episodes of this drama to jiwon rn so she could see how innocent her husband is.

Right now all the evidence is pointing to him, what she did in the basement to hyunso is indeed cruel and thank god she admitted that she was indeed to harsh on him.

If only these husband and wife would be more honest with each other SIGHS. But what's stopping both of them from being honest with each other is this creeping fear. For Hyunso, if he admits to his wife that he is indeed hyunso, he fears that she will leave him. And for jiwon, if she frankly questions him if he really is hyunso, she's afraid that she'll learn that the man she's been spending her life with has killed people base on the current evidence.

Her actions in the current episode are quite understandable yet a little bit harsh but we should sometimes have to see in her perspective because for us, we know that hyunso is innocent but in her knowledge as of now, he's still a prime suspect of a serial murderer investigation.

Also is it me or the humming kinda sounds like the song, "Love Me Tender" by Elvis Presley.
If it is wahhh i love it <3

Best wishes to the baek family. also the interaction between grandma baek and eunha is quite interesting, i have a feeling that this interaction will have a great impact in later episodes.

EPISODE 8 INCOMING WOOOHOOOOO! Have a good day guys!

The scenes with delivery man, his friend he lived with, seem unnecessary and over the top. Made the drama a bit…
... which episode are you in... Also wdym by delivery man, from the Chinese restaurant?... One thing I learned from well written mystery drama is that every scene is intended...(hint hint)

some people in the comments being critical and logical about love smh. Also, I know that each of us is entitled to our own opinions but hating the FL just because you're too possessive with your favorite actor(ML) is kinda... lame.

I'm not really what you would call a superfan of both LJG and MCW, I just watch dramas because of the plot and not because of who acts in it. I doubted Criminal Minds when I first heard of it since I don't like watching adaptations or remakes then regretted the fact that I hated it when I started watching it and was amazed by the acting and the way they weave the stories in each episode.

When I saw the synopsis of Flower of Evil, all I could think of is that it's intriguing and quite unique. So I started watching it and guess what, the acting of LJG and MCW are top-notch, the way they act as a husband and wife is very convincing for me, especially their interactions as a family with their daughter.

Some people in the comments say that MCW was overreacting-much during intense emotional scenes, specifically, where she discovers that her husband has been kidnapped... do you really want to see a poker face wife when she's supposed to be panicking because her husband who she would last suspect to be an abduction victim got kidnapped and could possibly be dead as the clock's ticking?

Another point that some of the comments are complaining about is MCW's character being too clingy and annoying during the flashbacks. For me, I think her, trying to push his buttons is understandable. In my point of view, if I saw this handsome guy walk in my store, being all mysterious, I would be crushing on him so bad. But I won't annoy him so much if I know that he's not interested in me. that's the thing people, LJG's character is showing an interest in her, it may not be visible through his dismissing words but his actions speak louder, that's why she's encouraging him to feel. And I think that scene where there was a blackout in the supermarket and LJG's character stayed, was the time the MCW's character starts to think that this isn't just a crush anymore. She's falling in love.

So on a concluding note, MCW's acting is brilliant for me and she portrayed the emotions and the feelings of the character well, she wasn't out of character at all. the past Jiwon is still the same as the present Jiwon: strong, determined, and loyal.

kudos to the writers, so far it's really been quite a roller coaster ride, so keep the tracks coming.

so far Episode 5 is my favorite episode.

PS waiting a week is a pain we have to endure :sobs:
