yes thank you! I don't have anything against the hong sisters personally. I'm sure both of them are lovely, but it doesn't change the fact that their writing needs some serious improvement 🙈

yeah they have incredible ideas and I respect them so much for making a drama that's never been done before in kdramaland, but the execution was sadly not good enough. :((

lmao I didn't call the writing horrible bc they killed off characters or bc aos might have a sad ending, and if you look through my ratings you'll see that I also wasn't a big fan of business proposal...it's the endless fillers, the inconsistent and illogical writing, the inability to properly resolve any of the million plot lines... I could write a whole essay about everything that's wrong but yeah let's just say I didn't like it bc I prefer cute and fluffy rom-coms 👍🏼

Alchemy of Souls made me realize what terrible writers the Hong Sisters actually are.... they have been adding so many useless story lines or plot twist to create tension and excitement but they resolved all of them in the stupidest and most illogical way possible or what's even worse, they just dropped them and didn't resolve them at all. I was already unsatisfied with part 1 for this exact reason but I was hoping that part 2 would fix all the issues from part 1. Instead the Hong Sisters repeated the same mistakes again and turned the whole plot into a absolute train wreck.I swear aos had the potential to become one of the greatest dramas of all time , I mean it has fantastic actors, explosive chemistry between the leads, very likable side characters, incredible world building, great costumes, beautiful cinematography and so much more but not even all that couldn't make up for the horrible writing.It honestly breaks my heart bc I wanted to love this drama but it has become impossible to overlook all its flaws, which is why I'll never watch another Hong Sisters drama ever again.I just don't think I'll be able to go through another big disappointment like this again. 😢
