Iris 2009. The Lee Byung Hun & Kim Tae Hee version. I'm a big fan of both actors and loved the premised of Iris. HOWEVER! 20 episodes and every freaking episode after the first three or four had a flashback (yes and it was the same damn one) with the drama theme song. By the fifteenth episode I swore the drama's main purpose was to just promote that damn song. I didn't finish the drama but my sister told me it ended badly anyway. Good thing I never finished. All I want to say to every drama directors is, CAN IT WITH THE DAMN FLASHBACKS!

We The Viewers are NOT stupid. We get the emotions you're portraying without needing you to reel in FLASHBACKS 10 times+, with the same song 10 times+. And I'm pretty sure none of us are senile or suffering from Alzheimer to be so incapable of remembering what we just saw in the previous episodes. If anyone remembers Iris 2009 drama, then you know what i'm talking about when I say damn long flashbacks with song. And because then I had poor server too and couldn't fast forward without the buffer stalling, I was stuck watching every freaking long ass flashbacks. By then I couldn't stand that damn song anymore or take the drama seriously. Sadly, Iris isn't the only drama done this way. But today, I've better internet and buffer so now I just fastfoward to the next relevant scene. However, if a drama needs that much flashbacks and song promotion then it's probably not worth anyone's time.

Bad Guys did it for me with this guy. I've seen him in dramas before but it wasn't until Bad Guys that I became an utter nut for him. The role of Lee Jung Moon really heightened his talent. I also liked his character in Man to Man but I didn't finish that show cuz wasn't really into it. But I'd watch something like it, if he ever gets another of those spy/bodyguard roles where he's sole lead with a better actress. That girl from Man to Man got on my nerves.
On A Korean Odyssey Jun 11, 2018
So is this even worth watching, anyone? Do they actually travel west or not...(though it would beg why it'd be classified as 'adapted from'). Meh, i kind of wish they'd had negotiated copyrights to Minekura's version and made that one instead (I just don't see the Japanese productions bringing Minekura's work to life without botching it since most of their live action production can't trump their manga versions). If anyone could do a quality produce TV drama of that wackiness, it'd be the Korean productions. Hehe. that would have been a whole lot fun to watch as a Korean version and wouldn't have left me wondering if I want to watch this show or not. I read the reviews, a whole lot of 'overall 6' only.

Ew...I thought the American show was shallow (and I watched the first six eps) and now they've made a Korean Version. I'm probably bias since I dislike white collar TV shows about lawyers beating their brains out about how to best reel in rich corporate clients, throw one and another under the bus, and rigid office politics. Reminds me too much of what really goes on with Wall Street in the US. If it's anything like the US version, I'll pass. Plus Megan Markle and Patrick J Adams made a weird onscreen couple. They didn't look good together...just my opinion.

This reminded me of Tunnel when I first read the summary, except backwards. Then I realized it's based on the British TV show of the same name some 12 years ago. I haven't seen the British version but so far I'm liking what I'm seeing in this Korean version. Just hope the producers won't leave this show with an open ending or cliff hanger just like they did with Special Affairs Team TEN.

one trailer makes this drama look really great. Another makes it look so mediocre. Well whatevs, I'll just have to see.

actually he said he will not do other BL except if Singto is his Pair.HE will only do BL with Singto..He already…
So that's how it is. KristxSingto so love each other (even if it's just in the land of fangirls). Hehe.

By the way, I like your profile picture. PreexRambo or Mew/Art which ever - I'm totally a whore for them. They need to hurry up and just do a series on their own without all the other annoying characters. I'd so watch a hour+ of them going at it. (snickers).

I love Pong but seriously, what's with the typecast lately. One cheating husband role after another. Mooh. I wanna see Pong and Bee reunited in a better plotted drama. Mooh.

wow, ten years after and this story is still getting remakes after remakes, huh. Guess people don't get tired of the same old stuff. Watched the Taiwanese version when it came out ages ago and dropped it after ep 9. I stuck around that long to see what the fuss was and couldn't handle it anymore so I quit while my sisters and friends remained watching (didn't pick up the second season either). I've been watching, reading anime/manga since I was small and one thing is, manga/anime have this really lame cliché of putting one girl in a group of guys or one girl in a school of guys. I thought this type of plot-line would phase out in the 90s but guess not. Kudos to those who like it though, nothing wrong with it.

I only picked it up for the actors. I like Son Ye Jin and Jung Hae In. But meh, I fast forward each episodes after ep 6. Found it dragging and boring. This is a show for those who are big on the whole slice of life romance "Woman, She - Man, He". If you're like me and get easily annoyed with stretched out long romance plot which could be cut in half, you can just watch the beginning and the end. Nothing of this plot that hasn't been done before. This is Jung Hae Jin's first leading TV drama so I get why he chose something safe but I hope to see him in more intense and diverse roles as lead since he did pretty good for his first movie lead in, The Age of Blood.

Yang Se Jong...the next big thing. This guy is such a cutie and talented. I loved how he pulled off two characters at once being the newbie he is. This is a good show. Good story.

Oh Choi Jin Hyuk has a new drama this year. Hmm....,plot reminds of 50 first date with drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler. I just hope it won't bore me out. I don't really like to watch versions after versions of what I've already seen so I hope this show will have some difference.

I'll give this production two thumbs up for trying. Everyone's gotta start somewhere even if it's a first crappy movie/series/drama (but I don't think 2Moon was that great either, rather inflated by fans who are just eager to support BL, so I don't think NewYear lost much by being rejected). Hopefully these actors will get the chance to part-take in better dramas.
On Method May 20, 2018

I don't feel that this movie was entirely BL, despite the kiss/cuddle scene. I mean sure if you blurred the line yeah, maybe. But it felt experimental with the characters stretching their abilities and realities to find a concrete footing within the roles given to them at the small price of loosing balance with reality for a short time. Once the curtain came down and stage closed though, they resumed back to their normal straight lives. The title says it all, Method.

I saw this long ago before the two lead actors became big names. Was surprised when I realized it was them and had to go back and rewatch. Haha. I've become even more of a Lee Je Hoon fan. I love him.
