Yeah unfortunately it's a cultural thing and so ridiculous like you said.. in china people call each other gege didi kind of stuff like korean noona or oppa things. the first episodes, she was used as a brother but in the onward episodes, she was not used in that sense. I saw this in a lot of drama; it was weird to me at first but I get used to it.
