I wish The Witch's Diner had a season 2, there was so much more to tell and the world building was interesting! About Secret royal inspector and Joy I completed it and really enjoyed till the end, there's a huge twist at ep 9 that renewed my interest and the team friendship grows on us, there are great episodes after that part ♥
Kind of the same thing happened to me, in the beginning of the 2010s what I was looking for were more romance and comedy kdramas but there's been this huge trend of thrillers, police, and stuff, I wasn't in it back then (also I had some trauma because of violence). Like when I watched Surpluss Princess, I thought 'great a story about a mermaid', but there were crime scenes and all lol. Years later (hello quarantine!), I gave a try again and found out it was great cause there were many new cosy dramas full of mental health tips. They helped me to get better and then I felt like trying some of those thrillers, action, etc... and I wasn't bothered by on-screen violence anymore. Even in those types of dramas there are healing and cute things to learn, also I enjoy watching the actresses and actors different skills! I love that kdramas are so diverse, according to your mood, there's always one that matches ♥
omg i had to force myself to complete this one, the multiple going back in time were so unneccesary! it started great with the cartoon world and stuff but then the story feels like it's never progressing. also the secondary characters are too underemployed.
You haven't even watched Dream High or Bring It On Ghost.
he was uncomfortable with it himself but it's not him who choose the casting, he's been very respectful and treated her like a lil sister contrary to other actors who could be flirty. although i agree the casting directors could pick women closer to his age but he's far from being the only one who gets 10 years difference with his partners (Gong Yoo, Lee Dong Wook, Ji Chang Wook, etc), it's more like the producers or else who choose the female leads.
they need to stop pairing him with girls so much younger than him
they do this with a lot of actors actually, if the actresses could be only 5 years younger that'd be better. thankfully there are more and more dramas where it's reversed and there are fl older than ml (aos, why her, etc)
The premise sounded interesting: A cat turns human on certain times of day and falls in love with its owner. However,…
it's true the beginning is slow but i kept watching and then it gets better! there are unexpected things, it's the kind of drama that's worth watching past the first impression
