Lee Chae Min said that in episodes 11 and 12 there are some really intense and passionate scenes. He mentioned, ‘If I have to spoil it a bit, it’s the scene where something explodes.

This drama has already done way better than anyone expected. Not even the producers or TVN thought it would blow up like this. It’s the highest-watched drama of 2025 and ranks 7th among all TVN dramas, and it could still go higher since it’s still airing. But even with all this success, I don’t think they’re planning a season 2. They haven’t even given us a proper photoshoot or promo segment with the leads, so expecting season 2 is basically like chopping your own leg with an axe.

I wish I had the link, but I don’t. I only saw people talking about it on Twitter, and that’s where I got the info. I couldn’t find the full novel in English or Korean either 😔.

Did you guys know that in the original novel there’s no romance at all? It’s only about Ji Yeong surviving with her cooking skills, which might be why the writer isn’t focusing much on the romance in this drama.

I just checked the cast and credits, and it says their roles will end in episode 9.

Hmmm can anybody tell me why this drama’s rating has stopped increasing? After every episode the rating used to go up by about 1% within three to five hours, but after episode 6 there has been no increment. The same thing happened on IMDb too. Until episode 6 the rating kept rising, but for episodes 7 and 8 it stayed the same. I don’t have a problem with 8.5 since that is still good, but if they drag the competition storyline too much there is a high chance the ratings will drop. Most dramas also lose ratings towards the end, so I really hope this one can at least maintain 8.7 on MDL and 8.5 on IMDb.

Bruh, they can’t even give us one proper kissing scene and you think I’m aiming for a bed scene? 😭 Let them give us a real kiss first, then we’ll talk 🤭.

If we don’t get a real kissing scene (not just a peck) in episode 9 or 10, I will honestly cry 😭😭😭.

I watched some clips from today’s episode on Twitter and I can already tell it’s going to be the best. Whoever makes those edits after they eat ily because I can’t stop laughing 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.

BAYM is literally on fire! The drama crossed 30% in real-time ratings today, which shows how much people are enjoying it.

I think today’s episode will be good, but at the same time a bit irritating because maybe they will speak Chinese a little too much compared to previous episodes 😭😭😭. I really hope they wrap up the competition in this episode because there are still so many storylines left to cover. I don’t want them to rush things at the end or leave anything unfinished.

I think everyone is waiting for a kissing scene, but I feel like we might only get it at the very end or maybe not at all 😭😭😭. The directors mentioned in an interview that there’s a kiss in the first half, but they didn’t say anything about the second half. Plus, Ji Yeong still hasn’t realized her feelings for Yi Heon, while only the King has admitted to himself that he loves her.

I don’t know about others but for me today’s episode was really good. The comedy, the action and the cute moments between the leads made it so enjoyable. The only part I didn’t like was when the envoy spoke Chinese. I usually skip those parts. Overall it was a fun and engaging episode.
