Hi everyone, I have translated L&R novel's 番外 (extra chapter/special episode chapter.). It usually appears on the last few pages of the novel. The extra story in the novel is not included in the main plot & takes place in a modern setting (example Shaoyang Sect becomes Shaoyang Security Company LOL) but with still the same characters. I actually find this chapter really funny :)

Finally done watching all 59 episodes today...including the little clip on their 12th life. I love love love it so much! This is my first ever xianxia drama that I'd fully completed. I'm rarely able to finish a long-episode kind of drama but L&R really made me sit through this whole rollercoaster ride. At first, I didn't really had any expectations before watching, but after finishing every episode, I wanted to watch the next and the next and so it continued... The plot was well done, and the main leads together with the other casts have good chemistry. Also, the CGI was really well done (The cherry blossom field scene was my absolute favorite!) and the lovely ending too at the end. The OSTs made the drama even better, my favorites would be Thousand Years of Love and Step Cliff. I would definitely be rewatching some of Xuan Ji and Si Feng's cute moments and some other scenes again! Overall, 10/10 for Love and Redemption. So glad that I've discovered this gem.

The first two episodes were too funny. Unexpectedly liking this drama a lot and I’m looking forward towards the rest of the episodes. Thumbs up!

Finished watching this drama today after finishing Go Ahead. This is probably my 5th drama of Tan SongYun. Such a good and lighthearted drama, I enjoyed every bit of the plot. The characters feels very realistic, and I’m so glad I discovered it. High school dramas are always my favourite to binge watch.

Watched the trailer and I’m excited for this!

Is it worth watching? Not sure if I can fully finish a long drama.

For me, this is the best Chinese drama of 2020. From the storyline, to the acting and the OSTs, everything about this drama is perfect. It covers perfectly on the balance of family, friendship, and romance. You will cry and laugh while watching it, and many of the scenes are soooo relatable in our life. Definitely a must watch! One last thing, love the OST “Like a Breeze” sang by Li Jian Jian (Seven) and the ending theme song by Mao Buyi! Really one of the best dramas I’ve ever watched after discovering this and The Untamed. Gonna rewatch this again!

I like how to they still kept some of the supporting casts' names from the original taiwan version like anna, dylan, anson and gu chi... still wished that the main casts names would be ji cun xi and chen xin yi though

The start of episode 1 really reminds me back of the 2008 Taiwan version (how she is a sticky note girl squeezing in the lift). Ah~~ so much memories?

Just finished episode 1...and it’s kinda scary during the whole evil spirits scene that I kept titling my phone away. I’m Super scared of horror scenes, should I continue watching it?

yes, worth it to watch but till halfway, you would probably wanna give up :3
