hi! like your article. however i may not agree with personal preference, i choose to watch that drama because…
Missing you is another good example of this, just so you know. They were great younger, but I didn't like the show as much when they got older :(

Suzy....Gu Family Book... Big... Are we sure we aren't talking about the worst in those categories? I'm confused…
Probably people voted for her a lot because they are fans of Miss A, and not for her acting/the drama. That is just my guess. Or there are a lot of people who have never seen good dramas?

5 years(personal preference) is a age difference you can't live with? Why? Because the female is the older one(Not…
Hikoru, I think the reason with Personal Taste is because of Lee Min Ho also playing a high school student in Boys Before Flowers right before Person Taste and also because he has a baby face (making him look younger than he is), while Son Ye Jin DOES look her age, which is already older than him to begin with.

Not saying that I agree because personally, I loved that drama, but I can see where Shaza is coming from.

But I also didn't watch these shows while they were airing. I watched Boys Before Flowers years ago and Personal Taste just last year, so there was a lot of time between the two dramas for me, which probably affected my opinion of it differently than Shaza. If that makes any sense haha ^.^

Haha that's okay :) First comment on my profile! :D It's better than clogging up the article with our conversation anyway haha. But I will try to find it for you and let you know ^.^

Also, what country are you from? I don't know if this would be a problem or not, but maybe some websites are only available in certain countries like with different streaming websites for dramas? I'm not sure, but maybe it will make a difference haha

Ahh! Sorry for my late reply. But I will try to find it for you!! It would really be a shame if you were unable to finish reading it just because of that.

I love your article! Everything fits perfectly! Keep it up! :))
I don't feel like there's enough story to do a whole second season, but I would love to see them together again for sure. Yeah, I think this drama definitely needs a special or a movie for it. Poor Kin-chan needs Chris. I feel sad leaving him this way. :(

Haha well, you make a fair point, and while I might be a LITTLE biased because I love Jung Il-woo, I don't necessarily agree with you, but I totally respect you for it.

Definitely read HYD if you get the chance. I try so hard to get my friends to read it, and they usually don't because it's so long, and watching anime is easier than reading manga. But the anime is terrible, and the manga is one of the best manga I've ever read. My absolute fav. so read it! haha

Nice chatting with you! :D

Yes!! I just finished it on Friday, when the last episode came out. I really loved it a lot more than the Korean. I haven't seen the Taiwanese, so I can't compare it to that. But I just felt the story more with this couple. I really hope they do a special for it.

cool article the only one that was an exception to the rules but not an exception was playful kiss. i mean throughout…
I think I will wait a little to watch the Taiwanese version because I don't like watching the same story one right after the other, but probably soon. I've heard nothing but good things about it (:

Haha yeah, they seem to have a thing with toilets in Korea. I've seen that in a lot of different Korean dramas Personal Taste, You're Beautiful, and this one are the ones that come to mind first. I think Boys Over Flowers might have also had one if I'm remembering correctly, but it's been a long time.

And yeah, I was definitely in support of Domyouji all the way. But I read the manga before watching any of the dramas, and it is by far my favorite manga that I've ever read. The story development is so much more than the dramas (obviously) but I think the Japanese drama did the best in telling the story well (: And Domyouji changed to be a better person, so I think it was a bit more relatable.

People complain that all of his bad behavior in the past is just forgotten, but I think the dramas just didn't have time to cover it. He has a lot to deal with in the manga to make up for it.

Honestly, the Invisible Man example could apply to several Korean drama characters.. The poor second lead who…
I think the Invisible Man one is You're Beautiful specifically because it talks about the scene where he talks to her on the phone and follows her down the street. But generally speaking, there are a lot of "invisible man" type 2nd leads.

Totally agree on the other one though. Secret Garden and BoF both came to mind immediately first, but there are tons of other ones.

Second male leads like #2 KILL me. Like they have me literally raging at the world for its injustice (*cough*…
Honestly, not sure how I've gone through the Hana Yori Dango story this many times, but I love it every time.

First read the manga, which was amazing~~ and by far the best version of this story (duh). Then the anime. Worst thing I've ever watched in my life. Great first like 15eps or so, but it's like 50-something episodes, and the rest of them were terrible... Then Korean drama and then Japanese drama. I think that both of them are good in their own way, but since my bias comes from the manga, it's different from most. They each keep different parts of the story from the manga and change different parts. Didn't really like the way they changed the end of the Japanese drama, but overall, I still like it more than the Korean one.

Kkkkk sorry for the long rant! (^.^)

I think that's kinda true. Maybe he didn't have to make an effort to get her, but I think after being a mega jerk for so long, getting engaged and everything else that happened, he should at least show that he truly loves her in his heart. Like he warmed up to her.

I felt this way a little bit too when I was watching Itazura na Kiss: Love in Tokyo. And so did Kotoko because she was kinda like "is this for real? when I wake up are you going to be a jerk again?" But at least you could see the love on Naoki's face when he looked at Kotoko.

I haven't seen the Taiwanese version yet, but I heard it was even better. Anyway that's just my opinion. Didn't had the Korean version, but didn't really love it either.

Generally speaking, I tend to hate second leads & wish they'd just die.
It's true they are sometimes necessary, but at the same time, it is an obstacle that the lead couple must overcome along with all the other obstacles, and sometimes you just wish they could be happy for once. It will never happen until the last episode, though.

Of course, my heart still breaks for those poor one-sided loves. It is always my favorite ending when everyone ends up with someone they love.

I might agree with you if it weren't for the fact that I had a unique experience with this show. Started watching it with a friend who spoiled it for me just a little bit, then tried to cover it up by telling me that in that in the end, she would be with Kang Hyeok's character. Chi Soo was trying to hard, and I rooted for him thinking he was the 2nd lead until it was eventually obvious that he was the lead.
