Just started ep 1. Couldn't help my tears. To think that this all happened not that long ago (1950s) in real history. Wow. Regretting not being a better history student, feeling ignorant.

Just binged ss1 and ss2. Throughly enjoyed them.

Just curious, are some of the scenes perhaps scripted? Also, were the participants given resources to pay for the dates? Lol I kept wondering about these. Lol

Wasn't going to watch it initially because I get easily disturbed especially the topic is too close to home.
But in the end I watched it for KMM. It's not bad, there are scenes that disturbed me, but on the whole, it showed positive human acts and a hopeful ending. Except the very last scene, i thought it took away the resolved and obtained hope that was happening and turned it suspenseful again.

I've only just recently learned about Jang Ja Yeon's case. It was disturbing watching this show, at least for me.
Went back to watch her charactor in " boys ove4 flowers". Her acting was good.
Its heartbreaking what happened to her.
Sorry this is over 10years belated, RIP.
