Bromance introduced me to Bii whom I adore especially. ? Although I've yet to see more than just clips of Love In Time, it has Danson Tang whom I'll watch in anything. ? A few of the other ones are on my watch lists, and a couple I couldn't finish or removed completely; Playful Kiss, Itazura na Kiss and Mischievous Kiss respectively.
Wow. The characters in this story are simply malformed. The leads have no redeeming qualities. There is zero chemistry between anyone. The acting is fine, but only to the point that the actors showed up and said their lines correctly. The story is one dimensional and one-sided. Admittedly, I could only sit through six episodes before calling it quits. The entire six episodes is torture for all the characters and the audience.
Jake Hsu's ears don't fit his hairstyle in this show. His ears stick out too much for the size of his head. Yes, I know it means longevity but dude... Jack and Zhao are adorable. ♥
I don't know about escapism or distance from reality per se, but I'm currently binge watching Be With You. It has 72 episodes, so seems a good isolation show to watch.
