Definitely, her main issue is the lack of communication with her mom which results in her jumping into conclusions and blaming her for all her misfortunes. She comes across as bratty and annoying but it's something that could be fixed (she is a teenager) Otherwise she is a pretty brave, talented and hardworking girl who minds her business (she is neither hurtful, mean nor bad spirited)
