The original is definitely better. Like one of the reviews said if you haven't seen the J version you might enjoy this more. My issue is the little bit of forced romance (at the end) it just doesn't suit the story at all. and of course too long it could've been better if it was 3-4 shorter.
Bungee Jumping of their Own, always makes me wonder about love and the idea behind the movie. People were arguing on another site about why not be with "him" "why go through the pain of having to find eachother again in our respective genders?" and idk it's a good question I mean do you love the person? is there gender part of that? and if you love them hard enough can you overlook that? and again you can argue that maybe there's a physical aspect to it and it might be 'coz of the time and society won't accept it. How do you categorize this kind of undying love?
Like you said I get immersed in their fantasy and have all kind of Qs, but ultimately comeback to reality and say I don't really believe in such love or in love in general.

Totally with you. I think mainly his character what makes this series so interesting. How psychopathy come about is an intriguing conversation and can be argued from different sides.
I have to say Lee Jun Yeong is an interesting character. I just don't get how his brain is wired. He has the empathy (saving those who are similar to him but at the same manipulating and killing w/no regret. People who exist with smaller areas for compassion in their brain how do you deal with that and integrate them into society. Obviously not all are criminals but how do you guide children who show signs and have all the risk factors? would you always live in fear that a stress factor might lead them to commit crime? idk
I always had the same questions regarding friendship and what defines the borders between that and romantic love. I remember having a conversation with my best friend about if we were to be the opposite gender would we be eachothers romantic love. Platonic love between friends exist for sure and it can be beautiful without having the physical aspect of it. Some people see love as friendship while others see love in it's physical form and as a bond that can not be friendship.
For this movie I saw it as a very deep friendship where friends love each other as much as if they would've loved their girlfriends.

Anyway it was an okay movie. Something was off about it which I can't describe. However in terms of dialogue and scenario it was pretty good. Many of the things she talks about go deep since we know we'll one day grow old and continue living and watch the world through our old eyes. her complains remind me of my grandma lol.
Not the most enlightening movie, BUT definitely a good watch. I enjoyed it. Good acting (I always liked Kang Woo acting and sometimes feel he's under appreciated). and poor kim Bum looks very thin but totally fits his character. These type of mystery/detective movies with an extra element are entertaining (thriller).
I never cried as much as I did at the end. I felt so wronged for Ikuo to have such a father who didn't have an ounce of love for him but did for his younger brother (when he saved him). That part has and still puts me in agony. So much pain, sadness, and loss. There was a lot of foreshadowing to their end so I expected it, still....
Definitely a great drama and one of 2-3 dramas I gave 10 with no regret. Watch it but prepare yourself for a tragic ending that was inevitable.
Its effect is going to stick with me for a while such a bitter taste!
I find the tech used are very old and unadvanced! Am I too used to american crime shows? I mean they seem such begginers in detective work. What about listening devices, DNA, trackers. It's a bit frustrating. Also when they're in trouble they don't call for back up!
But it's mostly comedy and it's fun to see the interactions between Gentle and Junior.
I've commented on this a long time ago, but the comments got deleted with the website update. Anyway, I have watched this drama many many times and every time the PE teacher makes me sick to the stomach. He's not a human he's a waste of space. I can't even the scene where he's in the bathroom laughing makes my blood boil.
Okay I'll try to be vague so not to spoil it for you. The killer was the best character for sure, the actor is seriously amazing the chills I get everytime I see him are just brrrr... I liked how the drama started and continued with constant developments and excitement but it was too long It could've been shorter and thus stronger. My issue is not about delving more into the killer's past (which made me not sympathise with him). I think the Lieutenant gave a somewhat sufficient analysis of him.However the issue is with the last two episode they just seem a bit randomly edited and put together. Idk how to explain but just watching them feels disorganized and could've been presented better (not the actors fault but writers).
I gave it an 7.5 solely on the villain (great acting) and the good start.
First time I saw him was in Can You Hear My Heart, and he was good. In the GWCSS my heart would beat in fear in every scene he's in. I didn't know he was on We Got Married I watched that and I was like OMG he is definitely a good actor with 15 years experience.
I really hope he gets the chance to show more and be more and more recognized.
