false confessions are common amongst those wrongfully convicted, especially younger ones. the interrogations wear them down, and they are threatened with worse punishments if they dont confess. what he said about only wanting to go home to his parents is sum ive heard a lot before in true crime stories

they might grow closer as they investigate the truth together. and idk why he doesnt like NG, but i think theyll grow apart bcs she wants to pretend like nothing happened and elope w JW, she doesn’t understand why the truth is important to him. unless NG is there to help him, or be an obstacle , I dont see her having more scenes w him than Seol

1. BY’s dad, I thought he became a drunk after he lost his child but that’s not the case, and he sounded abusive.
2. CNG, may have done something to DE, but if so I think it was an accident or she feels remorse. I dont think she ‘s a vicious killer or an evil character. Maybe it’s the actress, she always plays kind characters. However her crush on JW+her being desperate to make him move away(with her) and not find out the truth and prove his innocence - makes her sus.

She mightve injured DE, and BY’s dad finished her off and hid her body. Kind of like JJ in beyond evil.

I think they shouldve kept the original title. There are numerous film/tv projects called black out, and the original is more unique. 7.9 is a crazy rating tho. Should be 8.5, at least.
