It seems the Queen is the greyest of grey. Some people think she's shady, but she was very open to Deokim about not wanting to help San in ep11. She didn't hide her selfishness, and if she had ulterior motives she'd be smart enough to put on an act.
I think instead she will eventually turn against him, but I'm not sure there is room for that. In history their relationship got strained late in his reign.
I hope the crown princess will appear. In history she lived at her parents' house but perhaps we'll see her after the coronation. She was thought to be of good character and had a sister-relationship with Uibin.
It's almost as bad as Sado's story. How can you shed new light to a story that's been told countless times? I'm not a big fan of the actor and writer either, but that's another case. LBW is such a complex character he needs a masterful actor, no one can top Yoo Ah In.
why they had to kill the kid prince?? This series wasn't brutal enough for that imo. I remember how in SFD the kid prince got killed but that show was much more traditional. This is a fusion so I hated that he had to die : // He was just a kid..
I really like the queen - such a realistic portrayal. Often the queen either super nice or like the evil court lady. She’s good but doesn’t risk herself for just anyone, she’s not the CP’s ally but helps from time to time.
In Yang-sun's case, Goo-young was elsewhere, right? So he can't be the killer. Jo Han-chul never striked me as fitting for an evil mastermind role. Perhaps he's an accomplice, because weren't both he and GY not present when YS was attacked?
Is everyone's theory now that Kim Sol is the big bad, and he has a ranger assistant? Or that he has access as a volunteer to ranger uniforms and such?

I might've read a mistranslation before or misunderstood it
I think punishing her slave is not nearly as bad but still a way of forcing her. "Marry me or I'll hurt your friend", basically.
Threatening was his way of forcing I guess
Sukbin was a musuri. The lowest cast of maid ranks. Deokim is a commoner, and gets a salary which I think slaves did not.
KS is the only with a motive as we know, he should he the mastermind.
