The noodle scene was so cute!! Both of them smiling with food in their mouths had me grinning wider than they were 😄 In case anyone didn’t know, in Chinese culture, noodles are eaten on birthdays to symbolize longevity and good fortune ❤️

Looks like Yuan Zhong really did end up fixing a house with Tan Yin after all 😆 When they’re in the house and Tan Yin goes, “Look, I even brought a chessboard. We can play chess now,” bro instantly got war flashbacks of her taking forever to play her move 😂

It’s also adorable how Yuan Zhong instinctively grabs her arm to run, even though she literally outran him in a previous scene 😭

I really hope they get to travel the world together. Yuan Zhong’s thinking, “Now that I’m free, I should get revenge,” while Tan Yin’s like, “Now that you’re free, go touch some grass and live your life.”

Also, when Tang Hua was (fake) coughing, Zhi Dai was like, “Oh no!! ...let me finish this puzzle first real quick” 😆 Hopefully we get to see more progression of them

And A Xue is back!! It’s so sweet seeing Tan Yin have a friend again 🥹

Ohhh no, not the emotionally scarring ending 😭 In an interview, both lead actors said they like bad endings… I don’t even know how to interpret that, so I'll just pretend I never heard them say it 🥲 If it doesn’t end with them building a house together and living in peace, I’m rioting.
