it's crazy how they're all obsessed over the same dude. from the flashbacks of the first few episodes I first thought jaekyung and junseo had something going on between them at one point in the past. and that would have explained further why 1) jaekyung held a grudge forever and never forgave junseo, 2) junseo kept begging for forgiveness over and over and 3) sangeui drugged jaekyung. but I get that jealousy over friendships can be as much as sickening as relationships related jealousy.
right now, I'm mostly curious about how ichiroshiro will move on with their lives once the investigation is officially over. if (and I hope) both stay alive and well, is ichiro going to move out of shiro's house and go back to living alone? is he going to nag at shiro to keep living there with him? we all know he considers there to be his home too.
IMO, they actually never had to formally address what they are before because of the toll the investigation takes on them: they literally have more urgent matters (the investigation) to focus on, so they just let things happen and escalate on their own.
instead, we are able to witness their characters development and how small gestures towards each other build up the relationship they have today, and I think that's beautiful.
while I know the drama omitted some manga scenes they should have included, I personally love slow burn. we've had more than enough time to get to know these characters to the core, so I don't know why people are surprised about their relationship dynamics. they have the kind of relationship that fits their characters so well.
(if you think they don't have anything going on, you should have paid more attention to the episodes. especially ep 7, which I consider to be a major turning point. if by ep 7 you don't think they're a couple, that's on you tbh.)
...but we don't really know what will happen. they have a lot to wrap up in just one ep, so who knows if it'll be an open ending or we'll get some kind of closure or hints about their future lives @ post-investigation.
I think I'm a little too dumb for this; I don't understand the plot half the time. Nonetheless, I'm still enjoying…
as someone who once felt confused too, I say watch until ep 5. it is less action packed than the previous eps, and it explained what happened step by step.
Giwi still firmly has her claws into Pitch and isn't letting the two of them see each other.
thanks for the reply!! interesting, then I need to get back into watching it before next week comes... I just don't like matt with pitch tbh, I feel like pitch deserves to be with someone much better (and that's not giwi neither, lol), but I still wish we would get to see foei and mek acting together in another drama^^
ep 3 is airing in a few hours, but I still can't stop thinking about young shiro's scenes in ep 2. poor thing! especially that scene where he texts rion about being bi and having a boyfriend, and wanting to introduce him to her. that was too sad and it broke my heart, I really wished rion was alive to see that.
shiro had no idea that it was the last time he was going to meet his sister, and rion didn't even get to read his apology. she never got to know that shiro truly didn't have any hatred towards her, but that he acted like that because he didn't want to come out, which is completely understandable.
anyways, I really love to see bi representation in dramas, especially coming from my fave character! that is very nice, even if that one scene was heartbreaking to me.

shiro, about to say he had the same dream as ichiro: hold my beer
