this one was honestly quite boring to me lol the plot is pretty basic, the characters aren't incredibly interesting and kai isn't the type of character i'd usually get attached to. it had cute moments though and hiro just constantly reminded me of takahashi fumiya so that actually gets an extra point

also, we have no idea why his mom divorced the dad. they never say. it's quite reasonable to assume the abuse only started after the divorce bc he started drinking, which is why she has no idea

i don't wanna drag this out but quite frankly you sound stupid af bc yes, alcoholics do in fact beat up their kids black and blue for No apparent reason other than the fact that they're violent. do you think abusers have valid reasons to be abusive? no. they literally just are. what are you on about 😭

i'm so sorry but this is bananas. his dad didn't beat him for "no reason" he was a violent drunk. and his mom having no idea is a very common thing that happens in these situations, bc why would she assume he gets abused at home? and why would he tell her? he literally says he doesn't want to worry her and he's afraid for her safety. might i remind you they're literally highschoolers? the things they do don't make a lot of sense bc they're kids. and hirukawa is known to be self sabotaging, him taking the blame for his friends theft is literally bc his friend said it's all bc of him. hirukawa blames himself for influencing majima (even if he didn't mean it) and therefore thinks it's his responsibility to take. minase constantly running away after being kissed is bc for one he's embarrassed and two he's a guy being kissed by another guy? especially in a place like japan where gay marriage isn't even legalized and being openly queer is not a hugely accepted thing. and well the kisses... like i said, they're kids who've never kissed anyone before (minase didn't even kiss back the first few times) you didn't actually expect them to be making out right away? their kisses literally progressed with their relationship. you actually just sound like you didn't pay attention at all
