This is such a biased review that doesn't even properly justify reasonable points why this drama was given a 1…
"The original's inherent charm is difficult to replicate in forms of acting, music, cinematography and overall storyline development." Was this not a reasonable point? Reading has left the chat it seems
lol they blocked me, was fun trying to make you realize how absurd it is to connect an opinion on the internet to tribalism and obsessive behavior. I guess you blocking me checks out with your insane mentality and also beats the point of you replying to me if I can't even see it nor repond directly.
it's a movie not a series but same. I'm more hopeful toward this than I am for the remake of Someday or One Day.
it'll be hard to capture the magic of the original, one of the most unique fantasy romance films I've seen up to date. Jay Chou's composed soundtrack was perfection.
you know what else is a whole lot of nothing? this review
rather than focusing on how the cop in the second story referred to his apartment in a humane way, you chose to focus as to what the point of the blonde wig being worn by two different women was lmao. The apartment was metaphorically his heart/state of mind and by trespassing into his apartment, the waitress was entering his heart/state of mind unknowingly and changing things for him for the better until slowly but surely he was ready to move on from his breakup with his flight attendant ex girlfriend and accept a new person into his life. That's Wong Kar Wai in a nutshell, he tells simplistic love stories in a methodical manner.

Most, if not all of his films deal with the recurring theme of people who are stuck in certain routines and habits that don't make them happy. The series of images and Beach Boy's song weren't meant to represent anything, they were merely tools to complement the movie. Your problem is that you're trying too hard to find hidden meanings in things that simply aren't there.

I'm sorry, was I supposed to take you saying that the movie had no plot as valid criticism? LMFAO uh huh sure Jan, you know you could just admit his films aren't for you and end of story.
storyline development = plot
