Ep 24 (DVD version) Thoughts: I've seen many spoilers/analyses of the conflict but I'll contribute my two cents.…
I completely agree with your comment! I have seen so many people choose sides but I think they both did a poor job communicating. This is hardly surprising. LZX is young and this is her first relationship. GW has a difficult time expressing his thoughts due to his family. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I can admit that it is a bit frustrating to see people shift all of the blame onto LZX or GW… Your comment was refreshing!
Why can't 2nd male leads ever get the girl in the drama! WAE xD
Very true. Ahh, that drama really gave me so many feels xD
I usually never ship the girl with the guy that feels like the second lead, I don't like disappointing myself so I feel like I naturally try to steer myself away from those ships but I really couldn't help myself, I already had a bias towards the actor who played the character to begin with haha. For this drama, I really love both of the guys but I really feel like there is zero hope for the second lead guy here. I honestly love Jung (as shady as he is) but I have to admit it's partially because I read the webtoon, Park Hae Jin and my phobia of second lead ships... I see why people love In Ho though, he is such a great character.

Yeah, I get what you mean. I didn't expect anything either, I didn't think he even had a chance until later on in the show. But yeah, I realized that there wasn't really an actual male lead in that drama in the second half of the drama ~
I also shipped it so I'm glad it turned out like that xD
I'm really satisfied with the first episode. It followed the webtoon quite well (after watching how they completely changed Orange Marmalade, I was really worried about this adaption). It isn't exactly like the webtoon but I'm not expecting it to be, something similar already makes me incredibly happy. I really like the cast so far, it's my first time watching Kim Go Eun in anything and a lot of people weren't happy about her casting before the drama started airing because she doesn't look much like Hong Seol but I think she's doing well so far. While some things are different, they didn't turn her character into an idiot and let her keep her sharp instincts and intelligence, which was the most important thing for me. I was really excited to see Park Hae Jin and he didn't disappoint me at all, I think he really suits the role~~ ^^
The plot is getting so ridiculous. They ruined a perfectly good drama. If they were going to mess the story up like this they should've just followed the manhwa in the first place. What a waste.
Is there a happy ending? No spoilers, just tell me yes or no LOL. I'm around episode 14 and I'm scared something really bad is going to happen in the end. xD
While I wasn't pleased with the drama as a whole, I think I'm the only one that was okay with it ending AFTER the umbrella rain scene. I think it's better to start a relationship after you're ready. As many of you said, it was cheating. If they got together right after, it would be... not good lol. The ending really was too rushed though.
I liked the special episode. Others say that they're upset that the special was so short but I'm a little glad lol. I wouldn't want to see three hours of that annoying chick trying to get her grubby hands on Naoki. D:
As for the relationship, it didn't really feel satisfying but I'm not too worried considering the fact that there will be a season 2. ^w^ <3
Honestly, I just got bored and so I dropped it lol. When a show is too predictable it just gets boring, you know? The plot didn't appeal to me in the first place, what I was excited about was the casting (sorry, I'm like everyone else lol) but I got bored of that too.
Do Koreans really think all Americans talk weird and do drugs? I mean come on, most Korean dramas usually don't even have decent American actors but those first episodes were so painful to watch... such exaggerated acting.
And was I the only one that thought it was weird Lee Min Ho and Kim Woo Bin were playing high school students? Let's be real here, they may be attractive but they do not look like high school students. Too old for that. I'm kind of disappointed, I've always seen Lee Min Ho as a professional actor (even though I wasn't much of a fan, I respected him) but after this, it's hard to take his career seriously. This is weakest, worst part I've ever seen Park Shin Hye in. I'm not going to bash her acting like everyone else but I am going to say her acting was pretty horrible in this drama.
In the end it doesn't really matter since they both got awards and they're probably very happy with how the ratings turned out regardless of how international fans think. I'm guessing Korean fans who watched the drama there must've enjoyed it seeing that they got a lot attention. There's probably more I could say but this paragraph is already painfully long and everyone's already been said below anyways~
THE FOOD/DRINK ONE OMG. These characters insist they're broke and they need to do multiple jobs to pay for their bills yet they're wasting 3+ dollar drinks in every episode. whattheheck

Megumi was awful in the manga
