If they follow the fake pregnancy line and if they let Li Xian or some other male pawn exist in the drama, they don't need to make him gay & pedo right? Like they can make him problematic in other ways like being an abuser or has illegal business or something else but no need to be gay. Is that right or am I missing something? Hehe..

I was actually looking forward to the novel's character Jiang Li's maternal 3rd Uncle Ye Mingyu.
In the novel, uncle Ye Mingyu and XFF went to a cave to rescue people. I watched the new trailer. And unfortunately Uncle Ye Mingyu got replaced by ML in going to the cave.
I just hope they don't completely remove Ye Mingyu from the drama. Bc he was a really fun character to read and had great scenes with our FL.
is it me or the MCs and story kinda different? the novel and the drama characters and the summary seems so different.…
For example, it's very easy for them to eliminate transmigration because in the novel, Jiang Li has been punished and isolated in the temple by her family for 7 years for allegedly murdering her unborn stepbrother; and her relatives don't visit her and they don't know what she looks like anymore.
So now the drama makers, instead of making XFF (our MC) die and take over Jiang Li's body. She survived, alive, rescued by Jiang Li. And then our MC returning to the capitol with the identity of Jiang Li.
By doing this, it will become a bit more real and less magical which is better because this is not a fantasy genre to begin with.

Amazing facial expressions from everyone in the trailer!!!! I especially like the actress at 00:45 time stamp of the trailer, the one strangling Wu Jinyan, [maybe she's Li Meng playing Princess Wan Ning]. She has magnificent facial expressions based on that 1 second scene.

Oh and after waiting for more than a year and all the anticipation and excitement, I have finished this rubbish. And I think I've earned the right to make a simple comment "2/10" and I don't care how many people will refrain from starting this drama.
Does it help if I say that FL spent the whole new lifetime being scared of ML in many different ways rather than doing at least one true meaningful thing in her new life to change her fate? No, I don't think it will help people. Because I understand that just like everything else, people see things differently. So I honestly think my simple comment "2/10" is so much better. It's a way for me to release this drama from my system. And again I didn't put that rating on this drama's profile.
And I can put out several different bulleted points with detailed explanations on why it's a 2/10 for me. But for me, I don't need a million reasons to justify that. I'm not campaigning for people not to start this drama. People should feel free to start this drama if the trailer, synopsis and general comments speak to their very being. And they may end up liking it. And that's perfectly OKAY. We're all different. But again as for me, I only have ONE thing I'm looking for. And if it doesn't have it, it's OUT.

I love dramas and anime that challenge my beliefs. In dramas, some characters are written and they made decisions that I can't relate myself to but that doesn't mean they're challenging my perceptions. And I refuse to say they're stupid, nonsense, counterproductive or something negative. Hence, I chose to say they just simply don't align with my values systems. :)
We all watch dramas for different reasons. You are you, I am me. And I think that's trivial. :) I was lucky to have watched life-changing dramas in the past. And now, I have learned what I appreciate the most in a drama.
