I was unsure about it after the first episode, like "is this something for me?", but I had already downloaded the whole thing so I decided to stick with it for another shot and it sure grew on me a lot. It's actually a slice of life with smaller light moments that are comedic but not the try-hard kind. Interesting characters too, they all felt like individuals. It was nice, I liked it, I'd watch a second season right away.

Honestly... no. It might just not be your cup of tea. From start to finish it kept pretty steady, no better or worse, at least in my opinion.

It's decent but had its flaws. It made time pass in a good manner but that's about it. I'm glad I watched it even though it's not a title I would put in any recommendations. 7/10

It's definitely one to watch at a slow pace so watching it while it's airing is perfect.

Episode 1-10 everything is predictable but it's entertaining so far.
Episode 11-12 flashbacks with little added, we knew all this.
Frankly, I don't care about any of the characters. I'm already losing interest and falling behind on episodes. It seems the drama is about to dip its toes into romance and I'm not buying it between the leads. I feel like it might pick itself back up and go back to being "not great but entertaining" which is worth watching when I'm in the mood for it but I'd like it to be better than that.

Watched eps 1, I'll be disappointed if Jang Hyeon Seong has been typecasted as the bad guy disguised as a good guy again.

I'm really interested in this drama and hope to watch it soon.

Very enjoyable and it got better as I watched and the story unfolded. Initially I was afraid the female lead would be dumb and useless but nope. She may not be the brightest but she did what she could and showed she could collect herself after the first episodes. A few predictable moments but they were executed well enough to not bother me.

CSW and BDN have both confirmed to continue their roles. The first script reading will be taking place today and the drama will air in July.

Silly and absolutely ridiculous, in a good way. A hidden gem.

This isn't normally the type of drama I like or would start but somehow I gave it a chance and I'm glad I did. This is truly something on its own and will be remembered. It has drama, comedy, friendship in all the right amounts but also manages to be a meme while referring to famous Korean movies, actors and criticizing certain aspects of society. Just when you think it can't get crazier, the writer takes the challenge and delivers while thinking outside the box.

I had a lot of fun watching this drama.

As for historically, the term goes back to King Taejo of Goguryeo and holds the same meaning as today, "senior" within a person's own field of expertise.

This is no 대하사극, it's just a modern story with historical setting. They're using a modern approach to their relationship and FL use it because he is a writer and she's a bookworm and story teller.

The chemistry between the male leads is great and with an intriguing story to back it up. The 40 episodes went by quickly; An easy watch and entertaining drama despite its many flaws.

She has shown great performance in many works. When scrolling through the list I couldn't help but think "aah I remember that role". It's sad to hear her life ended so early in a sad manner.
