I agree with you, but you forgot one thing. Really often these dramas end on an airport where the main girl or guy leaves almost always in USA, like Hana Kimi, Protect the Boss, Witch Yoo Hee, Hana Yori Dango, Romantic Princess, Zettai Kareshi etc. But I still like these romantic comedies a lot :)
