This drama started off great, but then around episode 12 it was just dragging. I think watching molasses climbing up a hill on a winters day would have been more interesting.
How in the world did this drama get such a high score? It took almost 10 episodes to finally stop be boring and then the dragging. Did the writers forget to come up with an ending? If it hadn't been for Jo Jung Suk I would have stopped watching. He was phenomenal.
Agree 100% about Jo Jung Suk. Imo the FL the actor herself I have disliked since her first appearance. She just cannot act period. Her fluttery eyes and her mouth movements were so exaggerated but I think that's just her, can't change her non actor habits. Court Lady Dong was annoying as hell, haven't watched to the end yet. The crown prince was adorable. I think they ran out of ideas for episodes, I was bored up until the king finally took action. Maybe episode 11ish? But overall The King had the best performance I've seen in a drama with a king in it. Jo Jung Suk was phenomenal.
Look, I did insult you nor did I tell you anything about whether you are Korean or not. This is not face to face, I don't have psychic capabilities to see what you look like. If you read what I wrote you would of understood what I meant by old way and new way. Do you think languages don't evolve? You being rude twice now and you're accusing me of be ignorant. Anyway. I'm responding to an unknown rude person, it's easy to find a stick to beat a dog. I'm out.
So,... I just started this drama episode 1 and it started off with the time period way of speaking Korean and then half way through the drama it was Korean 2024. Lol then it goes back and forth lol with? Am I wrong?
Well that was super fast. That's Karma for you. I would have liked to see KYJ go through more, she deserved so much more punishment. Mind you I'm only 15 minutes in the last episode, she just might lol
I've been watching this for two days. I'm finishing up episode 12. Man are there a lot of things going on in this drama. Lots of holes to fill until the last episode. Maybe I missed something. Like how Teo met her and why he kept her name tag, lied about how many times he went back to Korea, maybe I really did miss something lol
The last two episodes just drag along as if the writers forgot the morale of their story.
Was it Queen Wonseong? If so the actress is Ha Seung Ri
Did the writers forget to come up with an ending?
