Have you by any chance watched the original of Good Doctor with Joowon? If you haven't, then please get blown away. If you found the Japanese version good then you will def love the Korean original. The US version sucks and has been altered too much
The top Korean dramas would have to be Just Between Lovers, Come and Hug Me, Mr Sunshine, My Mister, Mother, and Life on Mars. I have to completely disagree with 99% percent of everyone's assessment of What's Wrong With Secretary Kim, it was good in the first couple of episodes and then it got so boring and annoying that I just couldn't go on, I dropped it. Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter also another big disappointment, dropped after 11/2 episodes. Something in the Rain was the most ridiculously boring and over hyped drama ever and made me really dislike Son Ye Jin and her over the top acting to the point where now I find her acting the same in all her dramas and movies. I did like 100 Days My Prince, I found it light and funny. I think I would categorize this in my top 10 of good dramas to watch. Also Thirty But Seventeen, I really enjoyed it too. Encounter has been good, the only thing I can't get myself to enjoy is the two of them kissing. Park Bogum is best friends with Song Hye Kyo husband, I know they are professionals but it just feels weird, like a betrayal. Can't get over that feeling of cringe when I think about them together. As for Player I have to agree, I enjoyed it but not as much as I thought I would. I love all the actors especially Song Seung Heon, he can act out the telephone book for all I care and I will watch and listen til the cows come home LOL
Too many disappointments so far this year. I am hoping that 2019 will be far better in terms of acting and storylines.
