I think I'm more open to Asian remakes of Asian dramas or Asian countries adapting their neighbour countries…
I have to agree with that. North American remakes usually don't turn out that well when the original was fantastic, take Dirty Dancing for example, the remade it into a TV movie and it was horrendous (refuse to watch)
But this new show The Good Doctor is being based on Good Doctor by Park Jae-bum and the American version will be done by David Shore and Daniel Dae Kim. Kim is S Korean and most definitely follow the original so I've been told. Not sure about the actors though, that is the key to success as well :)
I've seen all the above OCN but Missing Noir M. But one of the best OCN shows was Bad Guys, now that was awesome!
Vampire Detective would have been great but it lacked in a lot of areas especially the end.

Known for Lupin III as Sabre. He was a very famous Japanese acrobat, behind the scenes in Jdrama. He plunged 30 feet to his death :(
