Not sure if I understand what going on with the ML's duality, but it's a fun short watch. I think the ML acts better when he is (or possessed by) the demon. The FL is ok. Every else's acting is just so bad LOL. The transition could have been smoother....

This is interesting for a short drama. I find the ML a bit too young-looking for the role but it's ok. The FL is very pretty I hope she get a lead role in full-length dramas. I just realize that she is also the FL in Don’t Forget My Love which I like despite the acting & the ending... Glad her acting improved in this one and she looks even more beautiful!

P.S. The subtitles are really testing my patience! It is sooooooo bad I begin to get a headache LOL

Awwwww... He Chu Feng & Sui Yi are so sweet in EP19.

Yesssss! New Life Begins is an amazing drama, totally fitting for my relax time after an exhausting working day. But I still haven't finished it though. I keep the last few episodes to fully enjoy it later on some "auspicious" days because I don't want it to end yet... I know I'm weird hahaha

Oh, that explains why so many viewers seem to be so far ahead of me even if I'm a iQiyi VIP member and catch this drama everyday LOL

I lost interests after the FL's brother's friend came into the picture (as the ML's love rival? seriously?). His scenes make me cringe so bad...
I will come back after I finish The Silence of the Monster LOL

I usually avoid palace dramas because women's (actually everyone's) life is so tragic it makes me kinda hate the world... But this drama is enjoyable so far and I still have some hope for a HE.

Watched up to EP5. I find this drama very interesting, entertaining, and somewhat inspiring. LOVE the cinematography and aesthetics!! The house they live in and everything in there are very pretty. Good storyline with nice balance between mystery, comedy , and (slow burn) romance. The 2 male leads have great chemistry and the characters fit them so well. They've nice ost too.
Now, I really want to know about He Chu Feng's story...

This drama had been on my to-watch list for a while because of Zhang Linghe's visuals (LOL) and I finally decided to watch it because of the cutie Ling Meishi (fell hard for her cute acting in The Love by Hypnotic). It is surprising good! I love how Mai Si Chong and Mei Wei Wei are so sweet and supportive to each other. Their chemistry and acting are great. Ling Meishi is lovely and Zhang Linghe is soooooooo fine! His eyes are truly captivating!!!

I started this without any expectations, but I thoroughly enjoyed this drama. The main leads' acting and chemistry are really good and they are truly pleasing to the eyes. Ling Meishi is a promising young actress. She is effortlessly cute and her acting is very natural. And, she has a cute pair of lips!! I can't help staring at her lips most of the time! ^^

This is one of a few Chinese dramas I can watch without too many annoying characters whose scenes I want to fast forward. The only annoying character for me is the FL's ex lover. I feel like I should've pitied him more, but he got on my nerve... probably because of the way the character was written combined with his acting which seemed pretty awkward to me.

Zhang Xue Ying is a cute girl, but the make-up in this drama doesn't compliment her at all. And Bi Wenjun's make-up and hair could have been better. Normally, he looks so much better than this... Sorry for my little rant XD

Watched up to EP10. I still find it enjoyable and look forward to new eps everyday.
It's just, in terms of character and acting(?), I like Bi Wenjun much more in Sweet Teeth :)

Lin Yun and Hou Ming Hao will look really cute together. And I love Lin Yun in ancient custume... she looks adorable!

Love the butler! Without him, the ML's life would be much more lonely T^T
And the main leads' relationship progresses mostly because of his help and eagerness.

I was dumbfounded when that medicine was boiled and drank... Maybe the ML and SML can share the cure ??
