both the frog and the shining were filmed in different times so of course they're different and the frog's quality is better but the shining is still a classic nonetheless with its own mood and storyline and i appreciated that the drama referenced some scenes.

i think not knowing which timeline is which at first is half the fun lmao. it's intriguing. but that being said, i know that everyone's got different tastes, but that confusion on timelines clears up quickly so if it's the only thing holding you back i suggest you keep watching it if you want.

she literally murdered that child and he let her get away with it. how else was he supposed act? he couldn't report her or do anything because they'd both go down. did we watch the same thing?

this was a magnificent piece. don't let the other comments push you away, start watching it and see for yourself. it is truly a masterpiece in my opinion, full of suspense, insanity, blood, justice, and sometimes subtle references to Kubrick's The Shining.
