Quite enjoyed the 8 episode version (not sure why they needed two versions tbh), but i found the whole story and concept quite interesting. Suzy's character 'Yu Mi/Anna' has so much complexity as you watch her grow over the years. The series of flashbacks throughout the drama gives you an insight into her life as well as others - which further develops the story too. Recommend it!
Ok, i finally got around to finishing this. It definitely got draggy in the middle, a lot of unnecessary scenes - but some other parts were great. Great to see Rain alongside Kim Bum though!
I actually enjoyed this more than The Menu, simply because i felt that the lessons and themes were more pronounced. The cinematography of not just the food, but the shots of the way people were eating helped depict the theme throughout the movie.
I thoroughly enjoyed Season 1, but for some reason, just couldn't get into Season 2. A few of the episodes were good, but i didn't really get into it until the final episode and i actually didn't mind the ending.
Thought i would start it this week, since Part 2 comes out soon - and i already finished Part 1! Amazing cast and story writing - the rival chemistry and the acting between FL and Yeon Jin was chilling and spine tingling! They really casted well in this drama!
Watched this straight after Singles Inferno 2 as a recommendation from a friend and wow was I blown away! This was actually really interesting and good, more realistic than many other dating shows - which puts their "lies" into perspective. Hoping for a Season 2!
It was a great season, but it definitely can't compare to Season 1. But it was nice for them to wrap up the ending of the characters though and that no matter what happens in life - all the tough times, it will be ok in the end. One of the best taiwanese dramas for sure!
Agree with most people here! The start was promising but then it got a bit draggy in the middle, so it took me awhile to finish this. I wish they showed more love line in the show and wish they gave us a better ending!!
Think they overdid the Flying Tiger franchise...this started off really well, but then i had no idea where the storyline went... it just wasn't captivating for me to watch and took me forever to finish
Lee Sung Min as the Grandfather really carried the show. I was pleasantly surprised by how much i enjoyed this series, even though i did feel the ending was somewhat rushed.
Been awhile since i've been hooked on a drama like this! 9/10
Now i want to eat some noodles...
