the 2MLs show several emotions well so when paired with FL it is more noticeable... Actor need to express emotions for the audience to feel a bond with them

yes, I think Chanel's mom wanted to marry Son's dad BUT he married another woman so another reason she was miserable in her marriage.... She wanted Chanel to marry Son so she could still be close to the father and or maybe to lure his father out of hiding which we see he is still alive in the final episode
