I told myself I will never watch another xianxia with this much angst but the promise of a Cheng Yi & Yang Zi xianxia made me pick it up the moment it aired. It’s so worth it but my heart can’t take all the heartache! 😭

I honestly cried my eyes out more than I cried from a break up. What a movie. It tugged my heart strings 😭

Does this have a happy ending? Or as happy as it could get lol. I’ve been wanting to watch this bc of Lee Joon Gi but I’m apprehensive because I love seeing him as a sort of bad-guy-turned-good-guy like in Lawless Lawyer and outsmart everybody.

Actually picked up the novel after watching the drama and imo, they made the drama so much better. Although, there were some parts I did enjoy from the novel that I wish they placed in the drama, but overall it was an enjoyable thing to watch. Enjoy!
