Up til now their relationship is actually following the novel, but they have made only few changes: First, Duang…
Thank you so much š„¹this was really helpful! Iām also really hoping they continue to stay faithful to the novel because there are so many scenes Iād absolutely love to see teeteepor bring to life
Hi! I just have a quick question for the novel readers. Would you say this adaptation has been faithful to the original novel so far?
I saw a TikTok post highlighting some favorite scenes and Duangqin interactions from the book, and it made me really curious. Iād love to know if the show is following the story closely, just so I have a better idea of what to expect going forward.
It took me way longer than expected to finish this series as I was stuck on episode 6 for the longest time. For some reason, I just couldnāt get past the early episodes. They felt a bit slow-paced, and I think thatās what kept me from fully committing at first.
But tonight? I randomly decided to keep going⦠and suddenly it was 3am and I had finished the entire show š
Iām honestly so glad I pushed through because once the story moved past the slower introduction, it really picked up. The middle and final episodes were incredibly engaging and the pacing improved, the stakes felt higher, and I was completely invested. From that point on, it was hard to stop watching.
Looking back, I probably wouldāve finished it much sooner if the first few episodes had been a bit tighter. That said, the payoff was absolutely worth it. Overall, it turned out to be a very good series, and Iām really glad I didnāt give up on it.
STOPPP THIS IS ADORABLE šš I literally couldnāt control my smile the entire time. The show is so cute and their dynamic is unbelievably sweet and full of chemistry in the best way. I love how it stays silly and fun without ever feeling cringe or overly exaggerated, itās genuinely funny, charming, and just feels so warm. Every scene with them had me giggling and kicking my feet. Iām OBSESSSED
Totally agree + the way they started the story was kinda bad , as a person who love watching zombie series nd…
FOR REAL I was so lost the entire time because it wasnāt a smooth transition back to the present :/ the flashback just happened so suddenly. One minute we were seeing the past, and the next we were back in the present out of nowhere
10/10 ā weāve finally reached the end of Revenged Love, and what an incredible journey itās been. These past two months have truly been some of the best of my life. This series gave us one of the most satisfying endings we could have ever hoped for from a Chinese BL, and I know Iām going to miss it dearly.
Chengwei and Guoshuai have carved out such a special place in my heart ā I donāt think Iāll ever truly move on from them. Thank you to the actors, the Revenged Love team, and everyone who poured their hard work, passion, and love into bringing this story to life. Iāll be forever grateful for this beautiful experience.
Also want to add: cjd is also a txn anti bc during txnās rumors/hate she changed her profile picture to an evil…
Oh my god, I really hope this is just a rumor because thatās actually so sad for tian :((( But one thing I donāt understand is - if she really doesnāt like Tian, then why cast him? She literally went out of her way to reach out and recruit him three separate times before tian xuning finally agreed
Why though? Is there any reason why she holds some secret animosity?
Honestly, Iām not entirely sure, but thereās been a lot of discussion about this today, and C-fans are furious - especially with Chai jidan and they're also claiming she has drastically altered Wu suoweiās character, straying far from how heās portrayed in the original story
Iāve been seeing a lot of C-fans and inter-fans discussing the situation with author Chai Jidan, the director, and the three main cast members ā and it honestly feels like thereās some clear dislike towards Ziyu, Liu Xuancheng, and Tian Xuning.
1. Chai Jidan deliberately used Ziyuās birthday (July 6) as the prison cell number ā0706,ā and even set Liu Xuanchengās birthday as Wusuoweiās parentsā anniversary ā which is seriously messed up.
2. The director doesnāt follow Xuning on Weibo and has never posted any BTS clips of him, even after his highlight episode, while sheās done so for others.
3. There are also screenshots showing Chai Jidan engaging with hate pages targeting Ziyu on Weibo.
Episode 18 was one of my favourite episodes so far ā the acting from all the leads was absolutely top notch. However,…
1. He threw water at wang shuo because he was tired of his brother's shenanigans and his little schemes on trying to steal chi cheng from wu suowei.
2. Yes he did get very angry after seeing the text hence him beating wang lian up, and the texts read: Wang lian: Are you still coming (to the party) today? Wu suowei: Yeah, i was busy, im on my way!
3. I honestly have no idea, i guess he just wanted to defend Chi Cheng?
4. Yes indeed he had thought CC was defending his ex, which is why he was upset and thought "wow so CC DOES have a vicious and protective side to him" when in reality CC was jealous bc Wang lian was texted his beloved Weiwei
Some of these Cnets really need to understand that this show wasnāt even created with them as the primary audience. It was meant for international fans. Yet the constant nitpicking, judgemental attitudes, and outright bullying from some of them (not all) is honestly so frustrating. Like omfg you're literally using a VPN just to access this content ā content that wasnāt even made for your market ā so the least you could do is watch respectfully.
The cast, the crew, and the whole Revenged Love team poured their hearts into making this happen, working across language and cultural barriers to deliver something fresh and entertaining. Instead of being hypercritical and entitled, maybe take a step back, appreciate the effort, and just enjoy the show for what it is. Criticism is one thing, but the toxicity is uncalled for. Letās show a little more respect and support ā especially when no one owed us this project in the first place.
