What exactly is Sasin's sexuality.. Is he bisexual or gay ?
Gay, definitely. The way he rejected the girl in episode 1 says it all.

I have high expectations for this drama. It seems like it had a pretty good budget :D
That's my impression, too. They also seem to have used quite a few extras (e.g., in a boxing match scene). That's always a good sign of a high budget.

is it going to be BL or just bromance? :')
All I know is that the series is officially announced as a romance by the German service company. Further details about the content are not yet known.

Otherwise, they only listed the names of some crew members such as set decorators and makeup artists. But I guess that's not of much interest to the people here... ;-)

Some new infos:

Several sites now list August 28th as the release date!

Apparently a large part of the series was filmed in Berlin and the surrounding area. (Filming lasted until the end of November and not until September, as previously assumed!) Young German actor Lennox Halm will appear in a supporting role as Lukas. Other characters include Lukas' father, and a woman named Sumiko. But it's not yet clear how large or small these roles are.

I think it won't be long now before we get an official announcement! :-)

I've read some comments here that say they wish that Tarn had died, too.

Really?!?

I'm so glad he's alive! He's a nice and loving guy.

Nut has lost human Tofu and he will very probably lose his mother in a few years. He needs a shoulder he can cry on, also someone who gives him strength. Tarn has done that before. I really don't think Nut would accept this kind of help and support from anybody else, be it another (new) boyfriend or even his friends. Without Tarn he would totally fall into despair when having to deal with his mother's disease!

(Believe me, it's absolutely heartbreaking when you have a family member with Alzheimer's...)

So, if Tarn had died, Nut would be shattered. And Tofu the Teddy with him. Just saying.

Hey, there's Tofu in this picture! At first I hadn't seen him... :-)

Honestly, this seems to be a great and very emotional scene. I hate that they had to cut it. This photo alone tells so much about Nut and Na's healed relationship, and also about how much Tofu is still with them...

Thanks for posting!

Thank you so much for your reply!

Since I only watched the show but haven't read the novel, I can't really give a profund opinion myself. But I find these interpretations very interesting. Again thank you, it's greatly appreciated! :-)

It's crazy that they had to cut so many scenes (180 minutes!!) just because of Netflix...

That's very interesting! Thank you for sharing these informations with us!

It's sad to know that we are missing on material for 2 full episodes (180 minutes!) just because of Netflix. But thankfully we will get to see at least some of the unaired scenes in this special cut now. Very much looking forward to it!

By the way, can you please tell us some of the director's interpretations that you don't agree with?

I don't think Job lied about the ending. It's just that actors often have a different view on their work than the audience. For example I've heard so many actors say that they prefer tragic endings because they think it has more depth than a happy ending, and also because it's more challenging for them as actors.

I've noticed it too that TMOTB's fanbase is relatively small... But you can't forget that Cutie Pie etc. all have an official international release. Teddy Bear however was only released in Thailand and a few other Asian countries. I am from Europe and only stumbled upon this show by coincidence. Believe me, it's not easy to watch any Asian show here when it's not released on YouTube with English subs! So I really hope Channel3 will give TMOTB an international release, too. Then I'm sure many more people will watch and love it!

Please notice: The following comment is only for people who decided not to watch the final episode just because of what others have written here! IT CONTAINS SPOILERS!!! So please only read it if you already watched Episode 16 or don't plan to watch it at all!
------------------------------

Yes, Tofu turns back into a teddy bear (who can now walk and move when no one is watching), but he's definitely not dead! Also it's no torture for him, as someone claimed, to see Nut with Tarn. Quite the opposite, I think. When he secretly watches Nut and Tarn he's actually smiling! I understand that Tofu back as a Teddy is tough for some viewers, but Tofu himself seems to be genuinely okay with it. In the last scene he says "I know that Nut will always think of me". And he is damn right about this!

People here say that Nut has forgotten about Tofu too early and that he never really loved him. WHAT?!? Nut is still VERY MUCH in love with Tofu! There is no doubt about it! Yes, he loves Tarn, too. But he even admits to Tarn that he misses Tofu. Tarn and Tofu are the only two people he ever truly loved. Now that Tofu is a teddy bear again, he and Tarn will be a loving couple, but up until the very last scene you can clearly see that Nut still cares deeply about Tofu! He often thinks about and even talks to him. He has definitely NOT forgotten about him and never will. Actually I think if Tarn would not have accepted Nut's feelings for Tofu, Nut would probably not entered a relationship with him.

Please, look at Nut's face when he is hugging the Teddy after he found it on the street and realized it is Tofu. Or when he is holding Tofu while sitting on his bed. Or shortly before the end when they are hugging after they kissed, there's SO MUCH LOVE (and pain) in Nut's face. Watch these scenes and tell me again that Nut never had any true feelings for Tofu! The truth is: Nut will always love both, Tofu and Tarn, dearly! The fact that Tofu turned back into a teddy doesn't change this one bit!!

At the end we see a smiling Tofu.

Okay. I really expected the worst after reading all these negative comments here. Nonetheless I just watched the final episode and now I'm totally surprised. Have you even watched this episode??? Because a lot of what you've written here is just not true!! Yes, the ending is very bittersweet (as expected from early on), maybe you won't like it. But it's by far not as horrendous as some people claim! Even though the final pairing might not be what you had hoped for, it still qualifies as a happy ending.

Everyone who hasn't watched Ep. 16 yet, please do so and decide on your own if you like it. Honestly, there are so many comments here that give a totally false impression. Some examples below.

For me personally, the ending was okay. I like both Tofu and Tarn very much. Some things I was missing, but given the circumstances the show could have ended so much worse!
On The Miracle of Teddy Bear Apr 30, 2022
I'm wondering if we will get some kind of a throuple ending. For a long time nearly all the promotion stills were about Nut and Tofu only. But recently there seem to pop up so many photos of all three guys together: Nut, Tofu and Tarn ....

Anyway, this show is so intense and I've really fallen in love with it! So sad that it's all over tomorrow.
On The Miracle of Teddy Bear Apr 25, 2022
Nut: "If death parts us one day and a miracle brings us back together, would we fall in love again?"
Tarn: "I should come back all handsome, so you would fall for me first."

I think Tarn will die... And Tofu is Tarn 2.0 ...

Personal note: I would totally hate it if I come back and have the exact same look as another person my boyfriend had a crush on! I would always fear that from now on I remind him more of his other crush (in this case Nueng) than of my former self (Tarn)...

I've just finished episode 6 and I have to tell that I love this show so much!!! It's really a surprise because…
In Ep. 5 Prib talks with Nueng's dad about Tarn. I don't know, but I think there's something very wrong with the dad... He acts strange. I wouldn't be surprised if he is responsible for Tarn being in coma! Do we have any more info about the relationship between Tarn and Nueng? Were they lovers? Maybe the dad just recently found out. Or he blames Tarn for Nueang's death.

Also Prib says that Tarn hasn't dated anyone in years because he still can't forget his first love. So despite breaking up with Nut, Tarn is still in love with him!? If this is true, than I guess Nut/Tarn could very well be the "final couple". (And maybe Tofu doesn't turn back into a teddy bear but instead his soul gets back into Tarn? Does this make any sense?)

Now to my question for Thai speakers: In Ep. 5 Prib and the dad talk about who is responsible for Tarn being in coma. At 19:11min Prib says that there is no woman involved because Tarn hasn't dated anyone in years. That's at least what the English subtitles say. But does she really say WOMAN (female)? Or does she say another word like lover etc., something where the gender isn't explicitly female? I think it's strange if she really said the word woman. Isn't Tarn gay? It would make more sense when she said "no woman involved because he's gay". Or even better "no boyfriend involved". If she said woman, I think it would imply that Tarn is bi or maybe even mostly interested in girls...

I ask this because I wonder if Prib and Tarn could end up as lovers. She has been in love with him before, but he only wanted a friendship. However, in the opening credits we see them next to each other and the way he smiles at her makes we wonder if this is a hint. (I know that in the original scene he's probably looking at Nut, but the way they cut it for the intro, it now looks as if he is smiling at Prib.) If he really is bi, then maybe Tarn/Prib will end up together as well as Nut/Tofu.

Okay, just some random thoughts... Sorry for this long post! :-)
