This review is so damn brutal😠imma leave to find reviews I agree with (what am I doing here)
I am sorry we aren't on the same page but yeah..... I kinda stand on my opinion. The base line of this drama was NOT a rom-com. It was a fantasy/mythology inspired. Sure they added the rom com thingy to make it more appealing but that's not why I was mad. Nam Joo Hyuk is a refined actor and everyone felt kind of betrayed with his portrayal of a whiny god. I am sure your pov of the drama was good and i hope you discover more dramas that make you smile.

Sequel done right... i will definitely miss the goofy characters. But hell yeah the nosey guy is annoying as hell. They could have given him a proper growth but somehow i feel like he got abandoned by the writer lol.
Been a week since i finished it and still not over it. Anyone up for a rant can reveal the spoiler and continue…
Things they could have done with joo in hae's character..... 1. She started off as a badass female lead who bit the vampire and then she turned into a pathetic sideshow. 2. She could've used her medical license to help the guesthouse guests and in turn the guests could've helped in the market to make the place popular. 3. Since her blood is magical she could've made him drink her blood and come back in 100 days ( let's say the cat ahjussi didn't know that 100 years was not the only solution). 4. Or she could have actually worked her ass off and made the guesthouse famous by taking help from the other vampire friends. 5. She could have become friends with that b face and made it into a whole gal pal thingy. Instead they showed some nonsense rivalry.

Things they could have done with Manhwis character 1. Legendary vampire fight. 2. Not make him die like an idiot by that psycho 3. Actually fight with Ok Taecyon and give him the death he deserves.... something on the front of he sacrifices himself for joo in and while he is trying to drink joo ins blood ( since we already know joo ins blood is different), second lead kills him.

In episode 11 now and is it just me or is this becoming a boring bland twilight(without any vampire action scenes)? I blame the writer... he had the best opportunity to make a proper blockbuster but they decided to add an effing triangle. So much potential wasted. Now watching in 2× speed
I feel like most comments are from people who don't like fantasy genre in general. The plot might have a few loopholes but the story is quite steady and interesting. I have seen other adaptations of manwhas and this is one of the good ones. Sure the chemisty between the leads and the second leads kind of lacks a bit but i feel like that was the directors fault. I really hope they don’t ruin the ending...
Well you're not wrong but you got the entire idea wrong lol. Bride of Habaek is a romantic comedy that doesn't…
I think we differ in our views. To me, bride of Habaek was a supernatural rom-com (may be something like Arang and the Magistrate or Hwayugi ). My expectations was more towards understanding why and how the story would go from there on (or how they were going to develop the other supernatural characters). Thanks for reading and commenting. :)
I just came here to read the comments lol I had no interest in this drama anyways since slice of life bores me…
Lol you cleared my suspicion.... I was getting tol vibes from this drama and the dialogues. I just didn't realize it. I love slice of life stories but i hated tol so much... It's just luke warm. The story lacks something but you don't know exactly what which is irritating....
Those who haven't started it yet please do... They have a special treat for Indians in the episode 1.... Damn it's so cringy but Oh My Gawd!!! Indian fans unite!!!
People who realised it a little too late that this is the male, slightly less explicit and soft version of "Orange is the new black"......??? I am so watching this shit again!!!!
