Actually yes. I haven't seen that drama lol but not cuz of him. Some of his characters are weird, buuuuut I didn't mind him much in Gab Dong. If you watch Perfect Wife youll know what I mean by the character type. It's too clear not to notice lol

Sung Joon for one. I think I've seen him twice, maybe 3 times(?) and i dropped or haven't picked up 3 dramas cuz of him (Madame Antoine, High Society, Hyde Jekyll and Me, I Need Romance 3...) The 3 cast members from Shopping King Louis are hard to take seriously (the girl is alright though) and Jo Yeo Jung was in a drama before that I tried to watch but her face was too....bright and barbie like it was hard to take her seriously (it was suppose to be mystery/crime I think). I promise I dont hate so many people lol I'm just watching way too much right now so I cant afford to tolerate things I 'don't like' atm. Other than Sung Joon (its not only his fault though lol) I dont not watch a show cuz of the cast.

And the trailer made me completely judge this drama as those boring typical almost makjang like dramas that I seriously hate. But one bored night I decided to jump in (not even fully aware of the plot other than 'a perfect wife' and 'a cheating husband') and I found that, after I swallowed that bitter judgement of mine and gave it a chance, I found I quite enjoyed that first episode compared to a lot of other 1st eps of other dramas. I've just seen episode 2 and I'm still not dissatisfied. The mystery theme is a plus for me. I'm also happy to see a somewhat strong female character, I think that must be the trend of 2017? Anyway, since its 20 eps I'd hold of until at least ep 4 (or 6) before starting if I were you (in case you're hesitant).

They often dont show things in the correct sequence. Maybe he was already on his way back before they got there. But still. They should make it clear. It just creates unnecessary frustration.
I have never been so stressed in my whole entire life. Those last 15mins of ep12 I couldnt breathe as if whatever sound I made would get them in trouble. My net kept freezing in the last 5 mins so I was super fucking stressed out like I had to repeat a few seconds every time afraid I'd fast forward by accident.
Other than sexual content, I never understood the need for censorship. Why is the person watching a crime drama if they dont want to see any violence? (*from a viewer that is still bitter about Voice's censorship)
I have never ranked a drama a 10 before. I just might with this one if they don't mess up the ending<3 (if they do I don't care, this ain't going below a 9 that's for sure!)
I have absolutely nothing against an idol acting in a drama (and I never expect much from an 'idol drama' anyway, it's more like a fun play where you can see your idols for more consecutive minutes lol) and I get that some of these idols are inexperienced....but why the hate? (from a lot of people.)
Some idol-actors are some of my favourite! Lee Joon, Eun Ji, Sungjae, Hyungshik who else gosh I think I have at least 5 more to add but I can't think of them atm. I honestly think these 4 I mentioned are better than so many other actors I've watched (they might even stand side by side with my favourite actors hehe)
And completely my own opinion but I think the 3 idols in Hwarang did a hell of a lot better than Go Ara. Her acting was super stiff in Hwarang and the fact that I'm bitter about that drama is 80% her doing. (the princess' actress, So Yeji as well. I couldnt buy her acting here at all.)
AWESOME first episode. Totally fell right into this from the start. And Hyungshik is even cuter than Bo Young, HOW is that even possible! xD All 3 of them (Ji Soo<3) are cute. I hope this remains awesome! ❤

He's actually not quite like those other leads you're probably referring to. You have to get why he does some of these (though I suppose he could do better lol) He's sweet but distant - that's all I can say without spoiling!
PS: his constant touching before he gets to know her is freaky though lol I can't justify that (other than the first time!)
