I don't know if you missed it, but Haochen wasn't his son at all. Fang Lei forged the DNA results. She was willing to let everyone know about this lie but it would not be good for Haochen. This is when Xu Yan said that he will stay with her and Haoming said that he will always be his son and they are his parents. But, umm, where is Haochen now that everything is going their way?

I totally agree. I also wanted Haochen to visit his "dad" in the hospital. Even if that didn't happen, why was there no reunion at all with all the family there? Haoming's mother also disappeared. They really should have everyone together making the dumplings. By everyone, I mean Haoming's parents, Haochen and Grandma. I don't think his parents even met her Grandma. They should have thanked her for helping to get Haochen better.

The only thing I could think of is they live farther away from his school than his parents. In the US, you have to go to a school in the school district where you live. Or they don't want to move him to a new school. But still, why do we have to think of excuses as to why he's not with them? He should be with them especially since Xu Yan told Fang Lei that Haochen stays with her and Hao Ming said that they are his parents.
The bad people walked away in the end: Lin Tao, Fang Lei, Han Wei Ping, Steve. I don't know if Mr Qu got away.…
Steve and Mr. Qu have gone to prison per Fang Lei in the last episode. At least, those 2 are now in jail. Han Wei Ping should definitely have gone to jail for kidnapping Haochen.

I agree with you. I'm also a bit disappointed they didn't show Ranran and her mom. Was she lucid when they finally reunited? Why didn't they show this since it was her abduction that started Deng Yan on this path?
