unpopular opinion but the actor who plays Dean is a bad actor. In this show and in until we meet again his facial expresses were barely noticeable, his tone and fluctuation always felt robotic. The actor playing Pharm took the melodramatic route (but i dont think its his fault bc the writes made him cry in every scene) and Dean just stands there with a stoic expression. I think this is why i loved their past live couple more then them and finding out the truth was the only reason i finished the show.
Between us is amazing bc both actors and their script feel so much more natural. When they are together it doesn't feel awkward. especially in the latest episode the actors were phenomenal. And even if i didn't want to know what happened to team in the past, i would still watch this show just to see how their relationship progresses.
I always thought that the initial motivation was bit lacking but after Ep10's ending DoJun has all the reason…
it say Slight Romance and the webtoon didn't really have any Romance at all. i hope her character fizzles out and only come back in when Do Joon needs her to crush his family

i believe in the webtoon it was the grandmother that was behind it. she hated her husband and was mad he was favoring his bastard grandson over her children
