This drama is so crowded, do we really need that many characters ?!!
We likely will as a purpose is being setup for most of them. Give it time for the drama to cook.

I think she actually will die in the end cuz the doctor said that there's no treatment for the tumor and she has…
My friend. It's a drama. Of course miracle cures are possible. :p And I fully welcome them with joy.

But seriously, very possible that some researchers overseas are already close to a cure/treatment and just a bit more funding can get them to the finish line.

This may be a controversial opinion 🤭 but I would love if this drama turned into a melodrama and she actually…
Begone, demon! Do not even mention such horrors in this page.

I wonder what they will do about her illness since I don't believe she will die in the end. Are they going to…
Almost certainly will go for what she suggested, she'll throw a bunch of money to researchers overseas and they find a miracle cure.

HW and his friend literally discussed how by being nice to Hae In the supposed will she created could be altered…
Assuming that it wasn't a lie, yeah, that makes sense. Or maybe it was a condition of her getting to marry him from her grandfather.

Both hallucinations and memory issues from what I gather. It mentions that she gains awareness and doesn't know…
To clarify, she clearly states that sometimes she couldn't remember what she did for the past few hours. It isn't clearly stated but she even forgot to attend a meeting with HW in episode 1 because of the memory issues. 5:58 is what it starts talking about the memory issues in the episode.

Tell me one thing , if they were so much in love with each other then how did their love vanish in a blink? to…
It didn't happen all of a sudden. Years of stuff just built up to this because the two suck at communicating with each other lol. Little misunderstandings and incidents (certainly not helped by Hae In's illness) built up and we get what we have.

I don't understand why some people are blaming HW. He is happy not because his wife is dying but because he will…
HW and his friend literally discussed how by being nice to Hae In the supposed will she created could be altered lol. There is no reason to go for bat for him here. He's doing a shitty thing. Yes, his primary goal is freedom in his eyes but he did attempt to be nice to get her to change her will. There is no escaping that.

And yes, we know that he loved her in the beginning and likely still loves her deep down. He also is hurting because of the secretary's words. And everything in the past that led to the current situation of their marriage. None of that excuses his behavior for being happy at his wife's future death and considering ways to take advantage of it. He is being shitty here and that is okay. He'll have to redeem himself and that'll be good for us as viewers to experience.

This series will be emotional roller coaster fs.By the way about FL illness, is it really hallucinations or is…
Both hallucinations and memory issues from what I gather. It mentions that she gains awareness and doesn't know what is going on at all.

God damn was HW cheering about his wife's upcoming death some real scummy shit lol. I can understand it because he sees a way out of his shitty living situation without much damage falling on him but that doesn't excuse his behavior. He does love her deep down, beneath the disappointment and anger that built up over the years, but he's at a low point here. Still, he did come to her rescue at the end and clearly felt jealous.

Hae In's issues are made more clear. Memory loss (not sure when it exactly began) likely contributed a decent bit to the issues between the couple. Forgetting important matters/dates (such as how in episode 1 she didn't go to the meeting with HW) and essentially being on auto-pilot during discussions?

And yeah, the divorce paper is going to bite HW in the ass and rightly so. And lots of people being setup as potential betrayers with Grace Ko being the clearest example.

2ML is whatever. Whatever drama he can cause is merely exploiting the bad relationship between the two. They've had some huge problems caused by themselves whether intentionally or unintentionally.

And yeah, seems to be clear that HW and Hae In likely knew each other in the past to some degree.

The wait for next week is going to excruciating.

I’m sure that we’ll learn soon enough but it’s possible that our two leads never slept in the same room. Not even on their wedding night. I can easily see him moving in and then being given a different room. And he doesn’t say anything to her about wanting to sleep together in her room. SMH.

Viewers are used to seeing cold and arrogant male leads. In this drama, the roles are swapped, which seems to…
I mean, nothing really wrong with HW "marrying into" the bride's family. Given how both worked within the family's company it just made to live together for a variety of reasons just from that perspective. Then there is how HW probably didn't want to take here away from the wealth and all that she enjoyed. Certainly not to live with his family. I guess that they could have gotten an apartment/home separate from her family but dude probably didn't want to rock the boat or ask what he felt was a too demanding ask.

This the dude that ditched her when he found out about her family lol. Her illness is...uncertain. Maybe it is something that would have killed her if not treated properly? FL being who she is probably left out the part where it is treatable? Could also just be her lying like some of the others have mentioned previously.

As for why she told him...HW is her husband after-all. You shouldn't keep such details from your partner regardless of how bad the relationship might have been. And at the end of the day she does love him. Plenty of fuck ups along the way that ruined the relationship but she does love him.

To this date it might just be my favorite kdrama. Loved nearly everything from the characters, to the story, and the OST. It was a beautiful and moving show that touched upon some important issues (however well or poorly it may have executed them at times). Definitely need to find the time to give it a rewatch.

FL - why don't you be nice to the perspn next to youML- like you? Seems like Both characters are guilty of changed…
Both aren't communicating properly. We feel for him because most of this is being told through his perspective but I wouldn't be surprised if he had some fuckups in the past that led to this current state of affairs.

I enjoyed the first episode a fair bit. Lots of good comedic moments (KSH drinking with his friend was a god damn riot) but also some decent setup for potential future issues to be had. Keen on seeing how things play out though I do have some reservations about how they will be executed. The twist at the end did give me some pause and I'll be watching carefully to see how they handle what the FL revealed.
