saying a romcom series is predictable.. that too with fixed pairings .. si something only weird people will Say.. I mean the F u expecting..? are we looking for criminals here? are we confused af about who is gonna end up with who?
then what is even there to predict.. guess I'll never understand what they mean.
I am not watching Mr. Fanboy yet.. but it's kinda cool to see both having the same rating in mdl.. but bruh.. comparing the comments.. 😭wtf literally.. it looks like Mr fanboy commenters don't even know you maniac exists... while you maniac commenters are having a WW4 on this comparison.. pretty weird honestly
okay so here's my VERY unpopular opinion.. willaim's voice is SO DAMN calm.. that it reminds me of Tay from Cherry Magic.. and THAT is the kind of character which suits him best (just imo).. somehow.. a careless red flag doesn't suit him (though dean isn't like that.. afaik.. he is quite emotional.. idk why the series is portraying him as both a red flag whore and an emotional green flag guy at the same time)
but I really want to see William in some GREEENESTT (lun intended) flag series.
actually just put them in the cherry magic plot or smtg 😭😭😭

I guess this was the most "okay" BL of its time.. the amount of sa, sexist jokes, calling the bottom as "female".. these stuffs were present, but less . overall.. the chemistry between the leads was really perfect
I started watching it like 2 Yrs ago.. and dropped around ep 5.. the lack of chemistry, dominating top, feminizing the bottom, sexist jokes, and SA.. I couldn't take it anymore.. though Ik this is a very old one.. and bl shows back then we're crappy like this. but I'm really glad they didn't continue as a pair..
the story was beautifully executed.. though I understand the frustration of some viewers.. who expected something more like YNEH.. but I'd like to say.. these two are very different shows.. yeah one might think they're similar from the trailers.. but if u finish watching both shows and still think they're of a similar plot.. then you need to develop some parts of your brain, I'm sorry to mention that though. YNEH definitely showed the struggle and truth (somewhat) of queer relationships in religious settings.. (though I personally did not like it because of a few reasons).. TTH is more about living with it. if you are queer and you think religious queer people shouldn't exist, please accept yourself as a queerphobe. homophobe. faith and queer love doesn't always have to challenge each other.. or cross the other one out. humans can live with both. and this was a show about that. every queer person has the right to still love God. every religious person has the right to choose to love whoever they want.
the cinematography, acting, music were peak yeah the story could have had some more angst (ik lots of viewers expected them to get caught while doing it).. but maybe this was never a show about angst. it was a calmer one. I'm glad I got to watch something unique like this. this is in no way comparable to YNEH, according to anyone who has depth to understand.
the number of episodes was really perfect. any longer would make it boring, shorter would make it hollow.

UWMA is a series you won't forget easily.. it stays with you.. for a very long time..
