If u r the one who loves classic,slow pace, realism n depth in the story this is definitely for u.
It was nostalgic with good music , I'm a sucker for cello.
The movie isn't abt romance n dnt confuse it with BL,i love BLs but this one has high standard,it was a gay movie which also covered a social n sexual issues faced by artists.Cnt believe it was made in 2000 .
Taiwan n Japan r really ahead of time.

It depends on taste n depends on how u interpret the ending n it's not a BL but a gay movie . There's no romance n i found it psychologically weak . Not for everyone .There were some beautiful artistic moments, overall ok movie .
