What I like about this drama the most is - it know exactly what it is and doesn't pretend to be something more. Like, actors don't overact but are believable (I'm looking at you, "Smile after tears"), production team don't pretend they're making award-winning arthouse, plotholes are forgivable (lawyer at 20? at what age did he finish law school then?). Overall I feel the vibe of "let's have fun making heavily-AI-loaded series and see if we get something decent".

My guess is it's about CY's family business. CY needs to get things done and QL is the biggest distraction for him)))

Unless CY is being watched by his father's people and he wants to stay unnoticed.

Oh, oh, I'd like to add my two cents about "at home". In ep. 9 (I think) when QL and CY talk on the phone and CY says something about coming home soon. QL asks where his home is. And CY answers "In your heart".
Also in the very first episode when QL is chatting with somebody we see a golden leaf avatar.

Earlier in this ep. we see XiaoFan listening to Ex about how LiQing's mother made them break up. After breakfast at Beis' he was sure that it's the only way to break free is to expose them with LQ. So seducing was intentional, a call to older brother was intentional, morning visit of siblings was intentional.

In my opinion she lost it not because she (romantically) likes her brother but because he's engaged and about to leave the family (i.e. her) and to start his own. And it seems to me that she knows that fiance-to-be and not very fond of her.

He did. In previous episode they were watching TV at the club, XiaoFan got nervous and LuQing noticed and tried to distract by mentioning Austria.

YESSSS!!!!!! Literally you can print almost any frame and hang it on the wall like decor.

Is it me or they decided to blame not QingTian but QingLang beause they are lookalike? I saw posters of QL and Rat on the bedroom wall behind and thought they pointed to those posters.

In my opinion, that laugh/cry was improvised and QL for a second broke a character and glansed at the camera with a genuine surprise )))))))

In one of the prevsous episodes HanLu tries to reject that creep saying that he is just an ant, nothing big or valuable in entertainment industry to really care about creep's threats.

As for me, the hardest scene was where in the background we see CY comforting QL and in the front is WS, all alone, not having strength even to cry.
Even the strongest man sometimes needs a shoulder to cry on, but he has no one by his side and it broke my heart for him a bit more...

Younger guy punched his bf to stop him from making a scene and making things even more difficult than it already is. Older guy later threatened to cause problems for his career and his agency. We don't know what exactly happened in a hotel room but judging by reaction of bf and manager something did happen. Younger guy knows about this dark side of show-biz so he keeps it cool.

Today I stumbled upon a phrase which wanted to share here, for me it resonated with your thoughtful comments:

I also like to watch reaction videos on YT channel, Kuma sometimes explains some details I missed while watching and gives his point of view which may be not as mine and it makes me think of this series even more.
