I think the shop is more about the memories about her friendship and love. They were the first friends she made and they completely changed her life. Before anyone she met YJ first. He gave her words of comfort and support when she needed them most. 2521 can only be her and YJ because of the age gap. Her relationship with YJ is deeper than the other friends. The rainbow chairs represent all of them.
As for why she won’t talk about the trip we can only predict. Many theories are made but the most reasonable one in my opinion is that MC is YR’s daughter but they haven’t told MC. Still doesn’t totally make sense but we can only watch and see for now😂

They’re good actors but they don’t have chemistry. Especially the friendship is a crucial part but they look so forced/unnatural. The story is the biggest problem.. they had so much potential

Yeah I was listening to that song so much after the fountain scene. The lyrics are so beautiful and sad. The whole vibe is full of reminiscent. I pray that they won’t make it like the singers story.. it’s just to sad. I tear up just listening to the song alone

why not? She’s just a talented actress that is brave enough to take on different roles. Many respected actors are in The Handmaiden including herself. She looks very youthful even more than some actually high schoolers 😂her portrayal of her character is on point. Just because she was in an erotic film it has no affect to this drama and it’s storyline
