Actually jjy used to be in a agency called star48 and her contract was lawfully over on June 15th 2024 but her agency has been claiming that she had signed for 10 more years which is wrong a contract cannot be for 20 years her ex agency lied about this situation and they lied about that they have treated her nicely, used 139 million yuan on her and shit etc. that's a long story tbh and her ex agency forged her signature on the contract she had filed lawsuit against them multiple times but they never came to settle disputes they have been sabotaging her dramas for a long period of time since she left siba media (her ex agency), vos was rumoured to air in April and the rumoured dates were 1st April and 10th April and siba again wanted attention they started creating mess again that the disputes haven't been settled and whatsoever then jjy's side her legal team released another statement released this statement:-
Regarding the lawsuit recently filed by Shanghai Choo Ba Culture Media Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Choo Ba Media"), the artist's former agency, against some of our partner companies, to prevent misunderstandings and fulfill our responsibilities to our partners, our studio hereby issues the following official statement.
First, the management contract between Ju Jingyi and Choo Ba Media expired in June 2024, and Choo Ba Media no longer has any authority to interfere in Xiao Ju's entertainment activities.
The management contract was originally specified to expire and terminate as of June 18, 2024. However, during the contract period, Choo Ba Media committed multiple breaches of contract, and furthermore, forged the so-called "Exclusive Artist Contract" supplementary agreement, seriously infringing on the artist's legitimate rights and interests. As a result, the artist reached an intolerable situation and formally sent a "Contract Termination Notice" to Choo Ba Media on June 15, 2024, demanding immediate termination of the contract.
In accordance with relevant legal provisions, the management contract between the two parties was terminated on the day the termination notice reached Choo Ba Media.
However, considering the multi-year cooperative relationship, the artist's side did not immediately disclose the fact and reasons for the early termination of the contract, and only stated externally that the "contract has expired and will not be renewed."
Nevertheless, Choo Ba Media has since repeatedly disseminated false information about the management relationship between the two parties, interfering with the artist's entertainment activities. The ongoing contract dispute between the artist and Choo Ba Media has been fully entrusted to lawyer Yang Ser Guang, and we believe the law will render a just judgment on this matter.
Second, our company strongly protests Choo Ba Media's acts of forging the artist's signature and authorization, and furthermore, indiscriminately "harassing" our partner companies. Although the partners have not responded to Choo Ba Media's malicious actions, we clearly state that such conduct may constitute abuse of litigation rights and malicious litigation.
Some of the lawsuits recently filed by Choo Ba Media against our partners lack a clear legal basis for the claims, while others were abruptly withdrawn right before amendments. Our company reserves the right to pursue legal liability for Choo Ba Media's malicious litigation conduct.
Finally, our company solemnly declares that all collaborations currently underway or already completed through our studio since June 15, 2024, have been concluded in accordance with Xiao Ju's own will, under her full authorization and signature, and the relevant contracts are all legal, valid, and protected by law in terms of the rights and interests of both parties.
