The more I watch this show the more I’m charmed by our atypical hero - anxious, clumsy, soft but steadfast and full of inner strength, who is at his most confident when he is treating his patients and standing up for the woman he loves. Looking forward to continue watching his growth arc
I need more time to consolidate my thoughts for episode 6 but I just want to say that it’s amazing how many beautiful scenes and conversations we already have between Ji-ui and Hari - I just know I am going to watch and replay these over and over and over again as a comfort watch - the scene at the end of episode 2 after treating the patient together, the fireflies scene, rain scene, their hospital conversations, first kiss (so insane). I feel so fed and it’s only episode 6!! The chemistry between Lee Jae Wook and Shin Ye Eun is crazy.
I’m already so happy with the show! 🥹 I’ll trust the director and take whatever they throw me!!
Episode 5 was soooo good!! I love that we were given so many conversations between ji-ui and hari - they are so naturally vulnerable with each other, just somehow really honest with each other, and it makes my heart happy watching them. The way ji-ui stood up to Hari’s ex felt so gratifying - it made me wonder what his ex did to crush him because he also seemed like a stronger, happier person in the flashbacks.
That final scene OMG it made me kick my feet. Ji-ui’s POV flashbacks were soooooo cute too.
It’s a fun watch with a lot of laugh out loud moments and also a lot of heart in the stories with the villagers. More fast paced than typical countryside/island drama. Good chemistry between the ML/FL and very realistic medical scenes. The first 2 episodes give a good sense of the vibe - if it’s not your thing you can always drop it!
That's what I was thinking, even the scene in teaser where hari and doji sits really close and smiles that's gonna…
Yea! I guess the governor will give them trouble and seems like Hari’s grandma being sick will be another storyline… and ML and FL healing each other’s traumas? Just don’t know if they’ll do that in dating era or not
Was just rewatching all the teasers and trailers and nearly everything has been played out in the first 4 episodes with the final bits we’ve not seen yet coming in the 5th episode it seems… What is going to happen next??? Kinda excited!
I loved episode 4 so much! Loved ji-ui and hari’s moments at the beginning… and just love their conversations, they are so open with each other and I don’t know, it’s not loud but the way they bare their innermost thoughts with each other feels very beautiful to me…
Ju Cheon and Jeong Seon were cute :)
Last part of the episode had me at the edge of my seat. On a side note, Jae Wook running with urgency with a medical kit is so HOT (is it just me? lol)
Also loved the director - would love to see more of her.
I'm so sorry I think Lee Jae Wook should very carefully choose a project drama after this. Most of his drama is…
This is funny how come you’re not blaming Hong Mingi for choosing poor scripts since you’re mainly upset about how he’s written?
Lee Jae Wook’s characters in Dear Hongrang and Death Game were incredible - Dear Hongrang was only released a year ago. I’m sorry if you can’t appreciate those shows.
Lee Jae Wook’s acting was top tier in this episode! He nails angsty / angry scenes so well. I enjoyed all the little Ji-ui and Hari moments scattered across episode 3 - especially the ending - Hari was so clear about her feelings. Ji-ui’s heart must be fluttering because mine was definitely fluttering on behalf of his!
very likely this will go the same route as OUR UNIVERSE ( our sunbae )
Shin Ye Eun said that there are many ending scenes where Ji-Ui and Hari spend time together and get closer so I highly doubt this will be as egregious as Our Universe… I’m praying!!
For episodes 5 and 6: every time the previews scare me a bit about the triangle and then in the actual episode it’s just a fake out pretty much.
