She want to be the best shogi player so she can meet her long lost time best frie d again because they made a promise when they were kids. I like Chihayafuru cast especially Mackenyu too adorable. He fit his role as high school student.

I think in both movie & dramas both FL & ML already drawn to each other so deeply. They start their romance so quickly & end up so quick too but still both ML try their best to be together with FL. Mamiya Shotaro is adorable & this time he get the FL.
