what do you mean weird? I kinda think so before, but I've already moved on xD
That's an interesting take! Personally, like I said, the way they spoke to each other gave off Mentor/Student vibes, past the general fact that physically their age difference can be off-putting. I definitely see where you're coming from though! The subtle symbolism in this drama really is beautiful.
You're telling me I just watched this whole thing in 2 days.. every day we stray further from god. This show is so cute. I guess it's more polarizing than I thought - so if you're thinking on watching, try it out! Don't take negative reviews to heart. Definitely worth at least watching a few episodes. Dan & Yeon alone are worth it! ♥
GIRL??? FACTS. The setting and story is very beautiful in terms of the themes: self-sacrifice, the beyond, and so on. I still enjoyed it to an extent of course, but everything else really lacks in comparison (hype-wise as well)! Most level-headed review I've seen yet! :)

Oh hey! I just always found it weird that a senior in high school and a man in his 30s+ were the main love interests. To me they didn't really have romantic chemistry bc of that, but more like a teacher/student, even father/daughter vibe! :)
This was such an enjoyable watch for me. The acting was absolutely splendid - at no time did I feel "disconnected" from dramaland when I was watching! The fact that I found myself genuinely despising SungHa's character is just a testament to that. Him, Kyungsoo, & Jihyun truly shone through for me. ((spoiler below)) Only things I'd change are Dongju + AeWol's storylines! SeonHo's character just felt like a replacement of what Dongju should've been, & AeWol deserved so much moreee. The only thing I wanted from him (JaeYoon) was to marry her, and my heart didn't even get that! (Obviously jokes, still loved SeonHo!) That said, even though it left me wanting to see more of AeWol(!!)Such a good watch. 10/10!
This drama was a great watch. Seo Dan is the perfect rendition of how interesting the "spoiled" "evil"(?) whatever character can be when they're developed right. She kind of reminded me of what the So Hye from 100 Days My Prince should've been! ((direct spoiler below)) Overall, the couples were on point and I enjoyed this show so much. One thing I would say is that I can't stand the "Leads Always Knew Each Other, They Just Didn't Know" trope. Not every great couple needs to randomly have affected each other in the past to be meant to be damn it!! 9/10, lovely cast :)
This was a cute little drama! Honestly, what annoyed me the most was the time-skip of 3 years(?). i absolutely HATE when dramas use one - it feels like a lazy way to progress the story! But I can see how it was necessary. Suzy, Joo Hyuk, and Seon Ho were great at their respective roles. HOWEVER, I never felt a lot of chemistry in general - specially with Seon Ho and Suzy (IM SORRY I JUST DIDNT) I wish the show focused more on In Jae + Dal Mi's mending of their sisterhood. Something the time-skip took away from us! I wanted to see more of them working to be sisters again! Anyway, cute drama overall! Solid 8/10.
Okay y'all this drama literally has the best cast, i loved the setting/storytelling, made me cry, etc. BUT THE LEADS ROMANCE IS SO WEIRD TO ME... IM SORRY??? Anyway the acting is splendid. Yoon In Na, Kim Go Eun, and Sungjae were so cute! Draegynfaerie's review is 100% accurate.
I'm actually pretty shocked to see that everyone got mostly annoyed at how Munyoung treated Gangtae... if anything, when I was watching it I thought it was annoying how Gangtae got mad at her so often for... breathing? To me, Munyoung isn't supposed to be the ""stable"" one anyway. So Gangtae's random outbursts really had a girl reeling!! ANYWAYS THIS IS A MASTERPIECE... 10/10. Nominations speak for themselves! Anyone mad at the dynamic really just missed the point of the story.
Oh Soo Ah literally deserved so much better. Yi Seo + Saeroyi's sudden get together made no sense to me considering half the plot was Saeroyi working to make sure Soo Ah could comfortable quit her job so they could be together... Nara definitely outdid Dami romantically. Their acting was so good though!
