FIRST OF ALL, HOW HOW HOW can you NOT have the main couple getting pregnant again in the ending?!!?!?! That is…
SO F*CKING TRUE.

After ep 24, it’s like the writers had a celebration of their own (for finishing half of the script already), got drunk together and then just bs the rest of the script. It’s actually so disappointing. It had so much potential and a powerful onscreen CP that lots of audiences support.

So I came back to finish off the last 6 eps and after completing them, I still stand by my previous long opinion (which has probably been buried by other comments lol).

Overall, totally not worth it.

Fans of the Taiwanese original: Please save yourself some golden time and pretend that this remake never happened.

Oh man, this drama started out good and had so much potential. But seeing the previews for eps 30 to 36, the upcoming events will really leave an audience dissatisfied (and maybe even a bad taste in the mouth), especially how Anna still has her time to shine on the screen beside the ML and with her brother (Dylan) asking Jiaxin to “let go” of ML for his sister. And if the events stay true to the previews, in the last ep, Dylan even tries to cover up for his sister by saying he was the one who swapped the contract.

Basically, while we will get one steamy kiss from one episode between the ML and FL, then everything else is all talking and seem more like fillers just to make up 36 episodes. I’m so disappointed :(

While the ML from the Taiwanese version seem like a douchebag, as viewers we get more couple scenes that we expect to see from the ML and FL (with Anna pretty much out of the picture after ML finds out about the contract). This Chinese version waited for the last episode, wtf? For viewers who already know the story, it’s pretty much a pain in the arse to wait and watch for things to be cleared up IN THE LAST EP.

This is probably the only drama I wish could somehow, magically, be extended to 36+ episodes —so that the screenwriters can give us more development between the ML and FL...

Let’s not even forget about how awful they portrayed the ML in this version (who in the Taiwanese was already awful enough). In the beginning half of the drama, you would think that the writers are just trying to develop his character from a “bad” and “indecisive” man to a man who can be “good” and “decisive” in his love life. But what we get from the miscarriage eps onwards show nothing to make the ML likeable at all.

BRB, think I need to find a corner to hide this drama out of my sight and just wait for The Eternal Love 3 to refresh the chemistry I love between the leads :s

Yeah this was definitely a much better executed production with truly top notch actors. My only issue is both…
Observations on point! I saw somewhere on Youtube that the crews wanted to create something better and something more high quality. So a lot of effort and details were planned out very carefully in the production of Love and Destiny. Unfortunately, while ratings are good (according to Wikipedia LOL), it wasn’t able to exceed the popularity of Eternal Love because there were other popular dramas that people were raving about during its broadcast, such as The Untamed.

it has been a while since i've last visited this page, and your comment was really interesting hahaha :')first…
@xiaorong
Hon, you nailed some of your explanations and reasonings. Okay, with a little biasness as well LOL. But I can actually borrow some of your comments to talk with my friend when we go out for coffee for some drama talks! I do have a question because it seems like you know the drama from start to end. You also mentioned that you have already read the novel which I haven't. I'm a little confused about Jin Mi's rebirth in the ending. Like was she reborn with memories from her past life as an immortal or was she still the same Jin Mi (from body and soul) from the past? LOL am I making any sense to you??? I saw one of your other comments about it, but I still can’t understand the concept, maybe because Xian Xia is still new to me. If anyone care to explain, please do.

@tsukushi makino
I think you're unknowingly taking xiaorong's comments too personally. She had nice intentions by telling you how she felt about the tone of your comments but you seem quite unwilling to accept that. When you told her that it's not right to force an opinion on someone else, this was exactly how the tone of your comments appeared to be.

I am on no one's side. Just a bypasser feeling boredand nosy LOL. Sorry if I sounded harsh and for intruding your discussion. I just have a straightforward personality LOLOLOL

Alrighty, I'm out. Byebye~
